Choreographed and creative directed by Emmy© Award-winning choreographer Mandy Moore and Dancing with the Stars Executive Producer Ashley Edens-Shaffer, audiences will have the opportunity to experience the excitement, glamour and glitz they see in the ballroom every Monday night live at the Fox Theatre on Monday, February 11th. WELCOME Dear Northrop Dance Lovers, Photo © James Everest We are pleased to share the world premiere of SHORE, the newest work NORTHROP PRESENTS from Emily Johnson/Catalyst, and the culmination of all of the events of our Northrop Grand Reopening. EMILY JOHNSON/CATALYST SHORE is the final work in a trilogy by this amazing Minnesota-based artist, and Northrop has been honored to present both The Thank-you Bar and Niicugni— the first two works in this trilogy—in our previous seasons. These have been SHORE thoughtful and provoking works by an artist who is truly pushing the boundaries Emily Johnson of what dance and performance can mean. Artistic Director Being able to present SHORE as the closing event of our season is a perfect Ain Gordon example of the transformation that Northrop has undergone. SHORE joins Director together Northrop’s resident partners in very meaningful ways: James Everest Emily Johnson is a 2013 McKnight Choreography Artist Fellow (housed within Lead Collaboration, Music and Sound Direction Northrop), as well as a fellow of the University of Minnesota’s Institute for Advanced Study (one of Northrop’s new resident partners).     Nov. 10, 2020 PENULTIMATE EPISODE OF THE SEASON AS SIX CELEBRITY AND PRO-DANCER COUPLES FACE DOUBLE ELIMINATION AND COMPETE IN THE SEMI-FINALS FOR THE COVETED MIRRORBALL TROPHY ON ABC’S ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS,’ MONDAY, NOV. 16 “Semi-Finals” – With only a week left before the finals, six celebrity and pro-dancer couples will dance and face double elimination as they compete for this season’s tenth week live, MONDAY, NOV. 16 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. (TV-PG, L) Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu. Tyra Banks will walk out to “Gasolina” by Daddy Yankee. For this week, there will be two rounds of competitive dance performances and the stakes are high to get into the finals. In the first round, celebrities will repeat a dance style they struggled with earlier in the season with a new song as their redemption dance. The judges will mentor each of the couples. For the second round, couples will perform another style of dance as they try to make it into the semi-finals. Live votes (via abc.com, the ABC app and SMS/text) will occur each week only during the live broadcast in the EST/CST time zones (but fans in all U.S. time zones may vote within that window). The live vote combined with the judges’ scores will be revealed during the broadcast. At the end of the evening, the judges will decide which celebrity up for elimination stays in the competition and which celebrity’s journey comes to an end.

FOUR CELEBRITY AND PRO-DANCER COUPLES COMPETE FOR THE COVETED MIRRORBALL TROPHY ON ABC’S ‘DANCING WITH THE STARS,’ MONDAY, NOV. 23 Nelly to Perform a Medley of His Greatest Hits; Derek Hough Dances Solo on the Ballroom Floor “Finale” – Four celebrity and pro-dancer couples dance and compete in the live season finale where one couple will win the coveted Mirrorball Trophy, MONDAY, NOV. 23 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. Episodes can also be viewed the next day on demand and on Hulu. Tyra Banks will walk out to “I’m So Excited” by The Pointer Sisters. For this week, each couple will repeat one of their favorite performances from earlier in the season with some new creative elements. Then, for the last element of competition, the couples will perform the most anticipated dance of the season—the fan-favorite Freestyle. In addition, Nelly will perform a medley of his greatest hits including “Ride Wit Me,” “Lil Bit” and “Hot in Herre” while his pro dancer Daniella Karagach dances with her husband, Pasha Pashkov. And Derek Hough will dance solo on the ballroom floor to “Let’s Fall in Love for the Night.” Also, a number of the couples who were eliminated earlier in the season will return to the ballroom.
