Trophyman Indoor Cricket Cup Round up Division 1 The League Leaders BramshawA had a comprehensive win over by 57 runs. The Bramshaw openers got them off to a rapid start with Andy Hart 36 retiring quickly helped by Tom Arnold 22 and John Murray 27no. Julian Neagle 3-34 did cause problems to the middle order before Hart returned to get Bramshaw to 147-4. East Tytherley lost an early wicket when Mark Allen was run out. Chas Smith 32 looked in good form but wickets fell at the other end as Joe Coombs 3-10 had the prolific Will Edwards 16 caught and then 2 wickets in consecutive balls which Tytherley never recovered from as they closed on 90 all out. Old T’s & Romsey A beat & Timsbury A by 56 runs. Old T’s openers Charlie King 26 and Paul Longland 27 took 57 off the first 5 overs before both retired. Craig Hurle 3-10 then slowed the run rate down as wickets tumbled and they both returned only to be both dismissed in the search for quick runs and Old T’s struggled to 113 all out. Michelmersh lost their openers for 11 and despite Lewis Allen 14, Matt Birch 15 and Dave Sharman 15 all getting starts they were unable to get any partnerships going and they were bowled out for 57 in the final over. Old Romsonians got back to winning ways with a nail biting victory over . Mottisfont made a steady start with Ian Bradwell and Graham Collins 23 putting on 34 before D. Stacey 3-27 broke the partnership. Neil Barnes 17 and Mr extras got the runs flowing but Stacey and Max Smith 2-11 returned to slow the run rate down and Mottisfont were 102 all out off the final ball. Old Romsonians also made a steady start but the openers were out at 34-2 with Mike Powell and Simon Mant each taking a wicket. Max Smith 37no and David Service 29no then got together in a match winning partnership both retiring as they neared victory. Ian Bradwell 2-17 then slowed their progress and 10 were required off the final over. Smith returning struck the 2 nd ball for 4 and the next for 6 runs completing a welcome victory at 103-4. Division 2 Old T’s & Romsey Youth maintained their lead at the top of Division 2 by defeating Bramshaw B by 59 runs. Despite losing their prolific opener Steve Smith in the 2 nd over Old T’s got off to a good start with Jon Whytehead 14 and Rob Newman 32no scoring quickly. Gus Flack 22 and Pete Newman 17no continued the flow of runs and with the help of 50 extras they finished on 133-4. Bramshaw made a steady start with Simon King 16 and Jon Wall 12. As they tried to accelerate the run rate wickets began to fall. Ollie Jordan 2-27 and Steve Smith 2-15 slowedthe runs down and Bramshaw closed well short on 74-5. Braishfield continued their winning ways with a last over victory over Hythe & Dibden . Hythe lost 3 early wickets to J.Hardy 3-13 which left them struggling on 18-3. Opener G. Mead 28no and J. Knight-Owen 13 got a partnership going and with the help of 56 extras they just fell short of the century at 98-4. were also helped by extras from the start as the bowlers struggled to find their accuracy. B.Brown 25no stood firm as S.Toms 2- 14 caused problems. The middle order paced their innings and they reached victory off the 3rd ball of the final over. Braishfield 11pts Hythe & Dibden 2pts

Wellow & Plaitford maintained their 2nd place when they beat Michelmersh & Timsbury B by 6 wickets. Michelmersh started slowly after losing an early wicket. Tom Holland 21 was caught and bowled by Lewis Oliver 1-24 at 50 and it was left to Dan Turrell 14no and Jack Lowman 16no to get them their first batting point of the season. They reached 96-2 including 24 wides. The Wellow openers went after the runs from the first ball and James Sampson 25no and Kieran Hancock 26no retired quickly leaving Oliver to reach the target in the 9 th over.
