The Kids Heart Challenge is a fun and exciting event where students learn about their hearts while helping others by raising money for the American Heart Association. All donations go towards helping others who have heart problems. The West Grand Elementary school participates in The Kids Heart Challenge every other year. The last time our school participated was in 2019 and raised $7,153. This year our kids raised $8,921.42 in donations, which is a new record for West Grand! This year the elementary students also participated in the Slime Challenge! Every student who raised $80 or more got to slime Dr. Peppard, Mr. Tedjeske, and Ms. West Grand Superintendent Darrin Peppard Moffett!
