This festival of learning began in 2016 in Southwestern Pennsylvania and West Virginia, and in 2019, the festival took root in seven additional regions with support from national co-hosts Remake Learning, PBS Kids and Digital Promise. The regional festivals are intentionally designed with a focus on equity and inclusion and events are hands-on, STEAM- oriented educational experiences for youth of all ages (pre-K through high school) and their families and caregivers.
