“Miss Kay” to Inspire with Personal Stories at Women’s Brunch; Share How Mentoring Helps

MONROE, La., January 14, 2016 — The United Fellowship of Women announces their 2016 Annual UFW Women’s Conference Brunch featuring “Miss Kay” Robertson to be held On January 30, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center in West Monroe, Louisiana. The mentoring event is for women of all ages and backgrounds for the purpose of empowerment through heartfelt testimonies, humorous personal stories, and life changing messages.

The day will include worship, shopping, book signings, dancing, singing, and a keepsake testimonial collectable book.

Speaker topics include prayer, emotional health, self- esteem, addiction, domestic violence, empowerment, enjoying God, authentic friendship, celebrating singleness, marriage, intentional influence and following God’s will. The motivational speakers will share transparently about their own personal struggles and the victories they have found in Christ with messages geared to impact attendees in every area of their lives--family, work and community.

The conference-brunch will feature keynote speaker Kay Robertson, also known as “Miss Kay,” a television personality, best known for her appearances on the A&E reality series Duck Dynasty. Robertson is the wife of entrepreneur and Duck Dynasty co-star . Robertson is known for inspiring others through her personal story, including relating how

Jesus saved her marriage and restored her family. The author of the cookbook, “Miss Kay’s Kitchen: Faith, Family, & Food-Bringing Our Home to Your Table,” Robertson has an indisputable passion for cooking. She will share her own personal struggles and victories at the conference brunch in the spirit of mentoring as the conference’s theme of “I Have Something You Need” suggests.

Additional speakers include CEO Kelle Messer, of Eskamoe’s Frozen Custard. Messer and her husband Dan, won the prestigious NICRA Ice Cream Promotion of the Year. She will encourage women as they seek success in their careers through her own journey to success as an entrepreneur.

Dr. Beatrice Tatem is a psychologist and licensed professional counselor who provides counseling and therapy services to children, adolescents and adults. Her experience working with women and children’s issues, sexualized violence, diversity issues, crisis and trauma gives her a plethora of topics to cover at the conference that draw from her professional experience.

Linda Trimble is the founder of The United Fellowship of Women Worldwide Network, which she refers to as “The Greatest Sisterhood of Women on Earth.” It is an organization of women from various backgrounds, cultures, and age groups. “I want this event to be a place where women can unite with others, share personal stories, and be encouraged and empowered,” says Trimble. “Our hope is that the stories the women hear at this event will transform lives and help them build a strong foundation so that they can encourage others.”

Trimble is the author of “Tru-An American Princess,” a book to help others embrace their own identity. Trimble, a dedicated mentor to women, is committed to empowering women to become strong and influential in their homes, churches, and communities. Trimble is also the founder of Celebrating Women, a ministry that honors women for their dedication and accomplishments in life. Trimble will also speak at the conference brunch, sharing life lessons and inspiring stories.
