Riders were able to show-off what they have worked towards over the last few years. The first two days of the 2012 Paralympic Equestrian competition consisted of the Team Test where Great Britain dominated four of the five grade levels. Over the last two days during the Para-Dressage Individual Test competition however, individual powerhouses overthrew Great Britain's reign. But the financial crisis of 2007 and 2008 gave him pause. “The challenge was existential,” he recounts. “Amid all the losses suffered by investors and collapses of large financial institutions and sovereign, I was grappling with the question of whether banks added value to society.” Things have picked up since. It was later registered with the Commissioner of Charities on 24th May 1973. • A year later, due to lack of funding, only Robert Tan and Frankie Thanapal Sin- nah were selected to represent Singapore at the Commonwealth Paraplegic Games in Dunedin, New Zealand in 1974. Frankie returned with a bronze medal for swim- ming, while Robert was placed fourth for javelin and weightlifting, and fifth for archery. • In 1975, the duo were again selected to represent Singapore in the first Far East and South Pacific (FESPIC) Games held in Japan.

Students pair up and take turns to be blindfolded - one sighted student guides a partner who is blindfolded to complete the run (any distance) while holding towels or a rope. The Paralympic Games is a major international multi-sport event for athletes with a range of disabilities, including but not limited to: impaired muscle power, impaired range of movement, visual, and intellectual impairment. There are Winter and Summer Paralympic Games, and they are often held almost immediately after the respective Olympic Games. After being postponed due to Covid-19 in 2020, the Paralympic Games is rescheduled to be held on 24th August 2021 - 5th September 2021 in Tokyo.
