ГОДИНЕ Татјана Попов1*, Слободан Гњато1, Горан Трбић1 и Марко Иванишевић1 1Универзитет у Бањој Луци, Природно-математички факултет, Бања Лука, Република Српска Сажетак: У раду се анализирају промјене температуре ваздуха у Источној Херцеговини у периоду 1961‒2016. године. На основу података о мјесечним средњим, средњим максималним и средњим минималним температурама ваздуха са метеоролошких и падавинских станица у Источној Херцеговини анализирани су трендови, распоред према перцентилима и промјене у односу на просјечне вриједности у референтном периоду 1961−1990. годи- не. Резултати истраживања показују да је на простору Источне Херцеговине присутна тенденција загријавања. Значајне позитивне трендове на годишњем нивоу испољавају како средње (0.1−0.3°C по деценији), тако и средње максималне (0.3−0.4°C по деценији) и средње минималне (0.1−0.4°C по деценији) температуре ваздуха. Повећање температура ваздуха присутно је током цијеле године, али је најизраженије у сезони љето (средња и средња минимална температура порасла је за 0.3−0.6°C по деценији, а средња максимална за 0.5−0.6°C), а нарочито током два најтоплија мјесеца, јула и августа. Original scientifi c paper CHANGES IN AIR TEMPERATURE OVER THE EAST HERZEGOVINA IN THE 1961‒2016 PERIODS Tatjana Popov1*, Slobodan Gnjato1, Goran Trbić1 and Marko Ivanišević1 1University of Banja Luka, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska Abstract: The paper analyzes changes in air temperatures over the East Herzegovina in the 1961‒2016 periods. Based on data on monthly mean, mean maximum and mean minimum air temperatures from meteorological and rain gauge stations in the East Herzegovina, trends, percentile ranks and changes in relation to the average values in the reference 1961−1990 periods were analyzed. The research results show that there is a tendency of warming over the territory of East Herzegovina. Signifi cant positive trends are manifested by both mean (0.1−0.3°C per decade) and mean maximum (0.3−0.4°C per decade) and mean minimum (0.1−0.4°C per decade) annual air temperatures. The increase in temperatures is present throughout the year, but it is most pronounced in the summer season (mean and mean minimum temperature increased by 0.3−0.6°C per decade, and mean maximum by 0.5−0.6°C), and especially during the two warmest months, July and August. Also, the article tries to throw a little more light on this notion, through a multidisciplinary view on the part of the population that has been named Vlachs in the past or present. The goal is to create an image of what they really are, and what they have never been, through a specific chronological historical overview of data related to the Vlachs. Thus, it allows the reader to understand, through the facts presented here, the misconceptions that are related to this term in the historiographic literature. Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts 94:27-36(497.16)"14" Belgrade Original scholarly work http://www.balcanica.rs The Vow of Ivan Crnojević to the Virgin Mary in Loreto under the Shadow of the Ottoman Conquest1 Abstract: This paper looks at the circumstances in which Ivan Crnojević, a fifteenth-century ruler of Zeta (historic region in present-day Montenegro), made a vow to the Virgin in a famous pilgrimage shrine, the Santa Casa in Loreto (Italy), where he was in exile fleeing another Ottoman offensive. The focus of the paper is on a few issues which need to be re-examined in order to understand Ivan’s vow against a broader background. His act is analyzed in the context of the symbolic role that the Virgin of Loreto played as a powerful antiturca protectress. On the other hand, much attention is paid to the institutional orga- nization of Slavs (Schiavoni) who found refuge in Loreto and nearby towns, which may serve as a basis for a more comprehensive understanding of the process of religious and social adjustment of Orthodox Slav refugees to their new Catholic environment. Keywords: Ivan Crnojević, Cetinje, Zeta, Santa Casa in Loreto, confraternities, Schiavoni van Crnojević, the ruler of Zeta (in present-day Montenegro), states in the I1485 foundation charter for the monastery of the Virgin Mary in Cetinje that he paid his devotions and made a vow to the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary in the pilgrimage shrine of the Santa Casa in Loreto (Italy).2 His vow was clear and simple: he would build a church in her honour in Cetinje if he returned safe- ly to his homeland, which he had been forced to leave twice, in 1476 and again in 1479, due to Ottoman conquests.
