RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE REQUEST OF COTABATO CITY TO IATF-MEID ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ZONING CONTAINMENT STRATEGY IN THE SELECTED AREAS OF THE CITY FROM SEPTEMBER 8-22,2O2O

WHEREAS, DILG Advisory dated .|une 22, 2,O2O which supports the IATF and NTF Memorandum Circular on the Application ofthe Zoning Containment Strategy for COVID-19 provides that LGUS, through their Local Chief Executives, have the authority to determine and declare zoning classification and lockdown depending on preset parameters, including the existence of suspected, probable, or confirmed COVID-19 case. The authority maybe exercised immediately to ensure timely response, subject to the review and assessment of the RIATF;

WHEREAS, per IATF guidelines, LGUs declaring localized lockdowns shall submit to the RIATF thru the Screening and Validation Committee, their data analytics on lockdowns, as reference by the RIATF in concurring the request ofthe LGUS;

WHEREAS, all activities or interventions in the type of community quarantine shall be in accordance with the Omnibus Guidelines on the Implementation of Community Quarantine in the Philippines issued by the IATF and policies and guidelines issued by the NTF;

WHEREAS, on September 9, 2020, the City Government of cotabato requested the endorsement of RIATF-EID XII for a "localized lockdown" to the lnter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging and Infectious Diseases for the implementation of immediate containment procedures necessary in order to control the rapid increase of COVID-19 cases;

WHEREAS, in a span of 16 days the Cotabato City lnter-Agency Task Force have recorded more than 26 confirmed cases and the number of confirmed cases are expected to rapidly increase in the following days;

WHEREAS, the Screening and Validation Committee of the RIATF-EID X[[ convened on September 9, 2O2O to assess and validate the requests of the LGU pursuant to RIATF-RTF XII Resolution No. 26-G and recommended for the endorsement of the declarations for "localized lockdown" of LGU Cotabato City;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, that the RIATF-EID XII approved RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE REQUEST OF COTABATO CITY TO IATF-MEID ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ZONING CONTAINMENT STRATEGY IN THE SELECTED AREAS OF THE CITY FROM SEPTEMBER A-22, 2020 with the following specifications:

Localized Lockdown of cotabato city on september 8-22,2O2O, to cover the following areas and shall tre placed as Critical Zone: ( 1. Purok Lawaan, Bagua Mother; \r 2. RESOLVED FURTHER, that a regular reassessment on the parameters shall be conducted every seven days or more oftener, as bases for extension or early lifting ofthe localized lockdown or zoning containment strategy; Spot Mapping and Generation of Contacts shall also be done with the assistance of the City Planning and Development Office ICPDO) delineating areas categorized as Critical Zone, Containment Zone, Buffer Zone and Outside Buffer Zone; and the same shall tre submitted to the RTF and RIATF Xll on CoVID-19;

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, rhat a copy ofthis Resolution be forwarded to the Provincial Governors, and Municipal/City Mayors concerned for their information and appropriate action. The same copy to be furnished to PIA XII for widest dissemination and the memtrers of the RIATF-EID XII & RTF COVID-19 for their information and prompt action.

RESOLUTION CONCURRING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ZONING CONTAINMENT STRATEGIES IN THE SELECTED AREAS OF THE MUNICIPALITIES OF SURALLAH, MIDSAYAP AND MAASIM, AND CITY OF KORONADAL OF THIS REGION

WHEREAS, DILG Advisory dated June 22, 2O2O which supports the IATF and NTF Memorandum Circular on the Application of the Zoning Containment Strategy for COVID-19 and provides that LGUS, through their Local chief Executives, have the authority to determine declare zoning classification and lockdown depending on preset parameters, including the exercised existence of suspected, probable, or confirmed COVID-19 case' The authority maybe immediately to ensure timely response, subject to the review and assessment of the RIATF;

WHEREAS, the Screening and validation committee of the RIATF convened on to RIATF- september 8, 2O20 to assess and validate the requests ofthe three (3) LGUs pursuant for localized RTF Resolution No. 26-G and recommended for the concurrence ofthe Declarations lockdown of the LGUs of Surallah, City of Koronadal, Midsayap, and Maasim;
