1:00 PM-MIDNIGHT Reunion Check-in Reunion Headquarters (for all reunions) in , Science Center, 1 Oxford Street Check-in and Reunion Shuttle service available starting at 1 PM. All attendees must check in to get tickets and other necessary reunion materials. For those staying in House dorms, the Reunion Shuttle from just outside the Science Center will bring you and your luggage to your dorm.

2:00-4:00 PM Class Day Exercises Tercentenary Theatre Class Day is a celebration for the graduating senior class. In addition to this year’s featured speaker, acclaimed author and public speaker, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichiethe, Class Day Exercises include presentations of the Ames Awards, the Harvard and Ivy Orations, an address by the Dean of Harvard College, and remarks from the incoming president of the Harvard Alumni Association. Tickets are required and available for pickup at Reunion Headquarters on a first-come, first-served basis.

9:45-11:30 AM Morning Exercises Tercentenary Theatre The Morning Exercises consist of orations, anthems, and the conferring of degrees on all graduates. Diplomas are received at ceremonies at the Houses and at individual Schools. Seating for the Morning Exercises is limited. Tickets are required for entry to Harvard Yard and are limited to one per alumnus or alumna. You may pick up your ticket from Reunion Headquarters at any time on Wednesday or Thursday. Guests may view a simulcast of the program in the Science Center.

Meet up with classmates while enjoying our big screen TV projecting a slideshow of photos of classmates from years past, classmate art, and live photos submitted by you, during the reunion. In addition, a laptop will be available for arranging Skype calls with classmates who could not attend the reunion so gather friends from a Freshman Dorm, House, rooming group or extracurricular activity and add remote group members into your conversation. 7:30-11:00 PM Class of 1983 Dining Hall Buffet Dinner Winthrop House Attire: Informal/Business Casual (no need for jackets and ties) Relive the dining hall experience, but in the 21st century and with better food and ambience than you may remember. We will all eat in the newly renovated Winthrop House Dining Hall (and, if the weather cooperates, the adjacent courtyard) but signage will be provided to facilitate optional seating with undergraduate House-mates, for those who wish to more fully recreate the nostalgia of their own individual House dining experiences. Dinner will include passed hot and cold appetizers followed by themed buffet stations featuring farm to table selections, New England seafood, and Greek diner fare.

Class of 1983 Dessert, Classmate Authors, and Jam Session Winthrop House The Coop will have a table outside dinner with books written by the authors in our class available for purchase so come and go as you like: Linger in the dining hall over a dessert of ice cream, fresh berries, fruit tarts, and chocolate dipped shortbread; move to the anteroom to view classmate authors’ books; or wander back into the performance area to enjoy an impromptu jam session by classmate musicians. Move back to the dining room at any point to resume conversations or, if nostalgia rekindles your appetite for a late night snack, take a short walk to Pinocchio’s or Charlie’s Kitchen, or check out new local venues. 7:00-11:30 PM Class of 1983 Gala Dinner and Dancing, “We’ll Always Have Harvard” Annenberg Hall Attire: Cocktail Dress, optional dress-up Dust off your white dinner jacket and gloves (optional, of course!) for a Casablanca themed evening continuing the film motif started with our Thursday night filmmaker event and harkening back to the days of double features at the old Harvard Square Cinema. Pop into the photo booth for keepsake photographs of you and your Harvard crew to capture the “continuation of many beautiful friendships.” Passed hors d’oeuvres followed by multiple dinner stations will provide something delicious for everyone, including short ribs, chicken, roasted salmon, roasted vegetables, shaved asparagus salad, and savory tarts. Top it all off with sumptuous desserts such as fresh berries with cake and pastry cream, and a VIP chocolate selection. A DJ will provide dance music from back in the day and will take texted/emailed requests for songs from the crowd; so bring your dance shoes!
