SEPTEMBER 2017

September 6 – 11, 2017 My wealth. My priorities. My partner.

You’ve spent your life accumulating wealth. And, no doubt, that wealth now takes many forms, sits in many places, and is managed by many advisors. Unfortunately, that kind of fragmentation creates gaps that can hold your wealth back from its full potential. The Private Bank can help.

The Private Bank uses a proprietary approach called the LIFE Wealth Cycle SM to ind those gaps—and help you achieve what is important to you.

STG at a Glance

In its on-going effort to redefine historic cultural spaces, STG launched Re:definition in 2016. Throughout the year, our Paramount Theatre lobby bar is transformed into an art gallery with a rotating series of exhibits!

Under the skillful direction of local curators, each exhibit showcases works made by visual artists from across our region whose pieces highlight issues of race and social justice, both locally and globally. In its inaugural year (2016), the Re:definition program centered on the theme “Illuminating Black Art in Seattle,” curated by Tariqa Waters and Jonathan Moore. Artists Ari Glass, Aramis O. Hamer, Jazz Brown, Christopher Shaw, and Jodi-Ann Burey were among those featured. This year, curator Tracy Rector focuses on “Indigenous Centered Perspectives,” with a series that aims to elevate the presence and availability of work created by Indigenous artists. So far, the works of John Feodorov, Adam Sings In The Timber, Kalen Goodluck, Amanda Spotted Fawn Strong, Margie Morris, and Bracken Hanuse Corlett have been featured.

Please join us on September 28th for the opening of the final installment of the 2017 Re:definition series, showcasing the work of Indigenous artist Joe Seymour. Each Re:definition exhibit is celebrated with a launch party in The Paramount Theatre lobby bar that is free and open to the public. Light hors d’oeuvres, beverages, and live music are provided. All displayed artwork is available for purchase, with all proceeds directly benefitting the artists.

For more information about the opening on September 28th, and the Re:definition program as a whole, please visit STGPresents.org/ redefinition

22 SEATTLE THEATRE GROUP Shining a spotlight on creativity.

The arts enrich all our lives and are an integral part of our culture and heritage. It’s why we support arts organizations within our community. They inspire, entertain, move, and inform us in so many ways. Without the arts our community would not be the vibrant and diverse place we enjoy today. KeyBank is proud to sponsor the 2017 - 2018 season of Broadway at the Paramount.
