A few of our districts are struggling with decreased memberships and participation. It seems we always look in the same places for so- lutions to this problem. Remember every district is made up of sev- eral counties. We need our members in all counties across the state to reach into their circles for potential new members. If we search for new people and tap different resources, we may get new ideas to build our organization and make more people interested in joining. Contact your district members, ask them to attend a meeting or an event, and bring a friend or two (or ten). They could be your next board member. The more members we have from across the spec- trum the more effective we will be at pursuing our goal of protecting the rights of all riders across the state. I hope all of you have been keeping warm in what seems to be a Thank you for your support, never-ending winter. The good news is in a few weeks we will be Byron heading into another riding season. That will bring the chance to ride President to district meetings and events. ABATE of Kansas
