W. Michigan at Ball State Serrato returns and takes over for Derek Simmons, who left after the 2019 to join the staff of the Toledo at Miami Indiana Hoosiers. From 2015-17 Serrato spent his time working with infielders and serving as the Bowling Green at Ohio team’s hitting coach. During those three seasons, Kent State won two Mid-American Conference titles and three East Division crowns. MAC REGULAR SEASON TITLES: 15 Kent State He spent the 2018 and 2019 seasons as an assistant coach with the Lee University Flames, a 15 Ohio Division-II school in Tennessee. This fall of 2020, he served as a volunteer assistant at 14 Western Michigan Central Florida. 14 Central Michigan 5 Ball State A 2012 graduate of Purdue University, Serrato played and starred for Coach Duncan and the 5 Miami Boilermakers.
