DUOMO Reachable by underground MM1-MM3 Station The Cathedral is the city’s most famous landmark. Open all days from 8.30 am to 6.45 pm. From the roof top you can enjoy the beautiful landscape. Going up with the lift costs you € 8,00 . If you want to keep you fit…you can go upstairs by foot! It costs only € 5,00 . Better by lift…don’t you think? For the religious, messes are often celebrated: from Monday to Saturday at 7.00 am, 7.30 am, 8.00 am, 8.30 am, 9.00 am, 10.00 am, 11.00 am, 12.45 am, 5.30 pm; on Sundays at 7.00 am, 8.00 am, 9.30 am, 11.00 am, 12.30 am, 5.30 pm. Behind Duomo, visit the archaeological area, open from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm for only € 4,00 !

LA SCALA THEATRE Reachable by underground MM1-MM3 Duomo Station It’s possible to visit the famous theatre all days. La Scala Museum is open from 9.00 am to 12.30 am and from 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Museum’s brochures are available in English, Spanish, Japanese and German at € 10,00 . Check on the website www.teatroallascala.org the availability to participate to a beautiful ballet or opera.

SANTA MARIA DELLE GRAZIE CHURCH + LAST SUPPER Reachable by underground MM1-MM2 Station The Leonardo Da Vinci’s masterpiece is preserved in this beautiful Gothic church. You can visit “The Last Supper” all days (except on Mondays) from 8.15 am to 6.45 pm. Ask the Reception to try and book tickets for you: it costs € 20,00 . Also appreciated are the beautiful religious mosaics created by the Vatican School. Also in this church you can take place to one of the many messes: from Monday to Saturday at 7.30 am, 8.00 am, 8.30 am, 9.30 am, 6.00 pm; on Sundays at 8.00 am, 9.30 am, 10.30 am, 11.30 am, 6.30 pm, 8.00 pm.

SFORZESCO CASTLE Reachable by underground MM1 Station or MM1-MM2 Cadorna Station This imposing Castle, originally built by the Viscontis and Sforzas, has been rebuilt several times. Inside the Castle, many museums (Egypt Art, Ancient Art, Prehistoric Museum) are open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm. The entrance costs you only € 3,00 . But on Fridays, from 14.00 on, it’s free of charge!!! Do not miss it!!! Inside the beautiful park that surrounds the castle you can find, especially in summertime, some nice bars and discos.

BRERA’S PINACOTECA Reachable by underground MM2 Lanza Station – MM3 Montenapoleone Station Brera Museum is not huge, but it consists of an impressive collection of primarily Italian paintings: Caravag- gio, Raffaello, Mantegna and many more. Brera opens from Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30 am to 7.15 pm. The ticket costs € 10,00 . You can also rent an acoustic guide in Italian, English, French, Spanish and German. THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MUSEUM LEONARDO DA VINCI Reachable by underground MM2 S.Ambrogio Station – MM1 Conciliazione Station This museum houses the world’s best scientific and technological collections including a separate area known as the Leonardo Da Vinci Gallery, which of course showcases the inventor’s great ideas. Time to visit it: from Tuesday to Friday, 9.30 am – 5.00 pm; On Saturdays and Sundays, 9.30 am – 6.30 pm.

SAN SIRO STADIUM Reachable by underground MM1 Lotto Station One of the most beautiful European Stadium. With a 85.000 people capacity, you can visit Stadium all days (except match day) from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm. Compared to English stadium, ours is very cheap, that’s why…you cannot miss it! Take part in the tour, that also includes the Museum, at only € 12,50!!! Contact the Reception to buy tickets for matches!

NAVIGLI + FLEE MARKET Reachable by underground MM2 P.ta Genova Station Tourists cannot miss out on a trip to one of Milan’s many flee markets. The largest market takes place in Viale Papiniano twice a week, on Tuesday and Saturday morning. It’s known for its terrific fashion, especially for shoes.

QUADRILATERO DELLA MODA Reachable by underground MM3 Montenapoleone Station Via Montenapoleone is the most expensive street in Milan and Italy, famous for fashion and jewelry shops. It is the most important street of the Milan Fashion District known as the Quadrilatero della Moda where many well-known fashion designers have their high-end boutiques and stores. Via Montenapoleone is also regarded as the most important ‘street in fashion’, as Milan is recognized as the absolute capital of fashion in the world.

PUBLIC GARDENS Reachable by underground MM1 P.ta Venezia Station Designed back in the late 1700’s, these beautiful gardens are worth the visit. They are always open. Inside the park you can find: Natural Museum: open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 to 17.30, € 3,00 (on Fridays afternoon free entrance!!!) Planetarim: open on Saturdays and Sundays with shows at 15.00 and 16.30, € 3,00.
