Go.A.P. Vide G.O.Ms. 7 Dated 02.01.2017 has appointed the Andhra Pradesh Urban Infrastructure Asset Management Limited (APUIAML), Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh as the Project Development Consultant and the Transaction Advisor for the Project.

Jakkampudi Economic Township Development Corporation Ltd. (JETDCL) (a Joint Venture of Government of Andhra Pradesh and Vijayawada Municipal Corporation) plans to develop, Phase -I of the “Jakkampudi Economic Township” on a plot area of 6.3 acres out of total plot area of 234.55 acres identified. The proposed Phase- I development is planned at Sy. No. 104-18 Vemavaram Village, Vijayawada Rural Mandal, Krishna District, A.P.

1 The proposed “Jakkampudi Economic Township” (JET City) consists of 50 - 60 flatted factories with parking facility of 600 car/utility vehicles (1 tonner).

Operation Phase: The solid wastes generated during operation phase will consist of mainly used paper, cartons, thermocol, plastics, polythene bags, corrugated boxes, glass etc., will be disposed to authorize vendors.

The dry waste is typically foot wear and paper trimming which is about 7,500 kg/day will be segregated and disposed to Cement Plant for incineration in Kiln.

The domestic waste from the JET City is 450 kg/day and sludge from STP is about 10 kg/day.

 The Domestic waste will be collected and stored separately and the same will be disposed to local Municipal Authority for further disposal.

 The food waste from the canteen will be sent to an organic waste composter. The compost from OWC will be used for greenbelt development.

 The dry waste (footwear trimmings etc.,) will be baled and transported to nearby Cement plant for incineration in kiln.

 The STP sludge will be conditioned and dried. The dried sludge cakes will be used as manure for greenery development.
