GORMLEY angled in and saved ground chasing the pace, came out on the second turn and four wide into the stretch, bid outside foes under urging in midstretch to gain a short lead in deep stretch and gamely prevailed. BATTLE OF MIDWAY had good early speed and dueled inside, fought back on the second turn and through the stretch and continued willingly to the wire. ROYAL MO five wide early, dueled three deep then outside the runner-up leaving the second turn and into the stretch, fought back under urging in the drive then had the rider lose the whip inside the sixteenth pole and continued gamely between foes late. REACH THE WORLD saved ground early then steadied into the first turn, came out on the backstretch and went three deep nearing and into the second turn, swung out six wide into the stretch and finished with interest. ILIAD tugged his way between horses then chased a bit off the rail, came out leaving the second turn and five wide into the stretch and found his best stride late. KIMBEAR bobbled some at the start, settled outside a rival chasing the pace, came out leaving the second turn and three wide into the stretch and lacked the needed rally. TERM OF ART settled inside then came off the rail on the backstretch, continued outside on the second turn, swung six wide into the stretch and could not offer the necessary late response. IRISH FREEDOM broke a bit slowly, went four wide on the first turn then chased three deep, came out and was in tight off heels five wide into the stretch and did not rally. MILTON FREEWATER angled in and settled outside a rival then a bit off the rail on the second turn, came out and steadied in tight nearing the quarter pole, swung four wide into the stretch and was not a threat. MIDNIGHT PLEASURE pulled his way along outside then angled in and stalked outside a rival, came out leaving the second turn and four wide into the stretch and weakened. SO CONFLATED angled in and saved ground chasing the pace, cut the corner into the stretch and weakened. AMERICAN ANTHEM had good early speed and dueled between horses, dropped back some leaving the second turn and weakened. COMMA SISTER broke a bit slowly, went three deep between horses on the first turn, settled outside a rival then a bit off the rail, dropped back into and on the second turn, gave way and was eased in the stretch.
