Tender under sealed cover on B-I form for the following civil woks at designated sties in District are invited from the contractors / firms registered with Engineering Council in particular category and meeting the criteria under the PPRA Rules, 2004 are eligible for participation in the tenders.

CONDITIONS:

1. The application for purchase of tender documents should accompany 2% Bid Security of the estimated cost for each site as mentioned above in shape of Pay Order or deposit at call pledged to the Director General, Sindh Coal Authority.

2. The application for issuance of tender document can be submitted immediately after publication of Notice upto 19th June, 2009 during office hours. Blank Tender Documents will be issued to the applicant on next working day after scrutiny of the application subject to the payment of tender document price (non-refundable).

3. The Tender Form shall be received back in sealed cover on 20th June, 2009 upto 02:00 pm and will be opened on the same day at 02:30 pm in presence of the intending bidders / contractors or their authorized representative who may wish to be present.

4. The successful bidder(s) / contractor(s) whose tender(s) are accepted will have to obtain adhesive stamps from Assistant Superintendent Stamps, Government of Sindh, Karachi on payment of stamps fee according to schedule prescribed in the Sixth Finance Act 1996 amended rules up to date and sign the agreement.

5. The bidders shall be required to furnish a copy of Pakistan Engineering Council Certificate for the current year along with Company Profile, list of tools / machinery required for these works available with them as well as list of technical manpower on their pay roll with relevant field experience. They shall also be required to furnish details of similar works under execution / completed along with financial turnover of last five year.

6. Conditional tenders / bids will not be accepted. The Procuring Agency reserves the right to reject all bids or proposal at any time subject to the relevant provisions of PPRA Rules, 2004.

NOTE: UN-RESPONDED TENDER WILL BE RE-ISSUED ON 26th JUNE, 2009 AND WILL BE RE-OPENED ON 27th JUNE, 2009
