Den vielen Tourenwagen-Fans nicht nur in Deutschland stellen sich verschiedene brennende Fragen: Wie schnell und spektakulär sind die Tourenwagen mit den neuen, rund 600 PS starken Turbomotoren live vor Ort? Kann Audi die leichten Vorteile aus den Tests auch am ersten Rennwochenende umsetzen? Hat BMW, wie Experten vermuten, noch Pfeile im Köcher? Wie schlagen sich die Neulinge von Aston Martin, die bei den letzten gemeinsamen Testfahrten auf dem Lausitzring angedeutet haben, welch großes Potenzial im neuen Aston Martin Vantage DTM steckt? Kann das Privatteam WRT mit den beiden heißen Youngstern Jonathan Aberdein und Pietro Fittipaldi den arrivierten DTM-Stars die Suppe versalzen? In this edition we report on the final of the Girls on Track European Young Women Programme. Supported by the EU Erasmus+ initiative the programme introduced more than 1,200 girls in nine territories to motor sport and at Le Mans, at a hugely exciting three-day event, the number was whittled down to just six girls who will now form a European karting team. We also look at the expansion of the Commission’s mission to encourage more female participation through the launch of The Girls on Track – Dare to be Different at Formula E’s Mexico E-Prix. Fabienne Wohlwend fuhr am Wochenende in Misano auf den dritten Rang und holte damit ihr erstes Podest in der Frauen-Rennserie. Mit einem besseren Start wäre für Wohlwend sogar noch mehr dringelegen.
