Along with SHW Group, our firm designed the 110,000-square-foot facility as a series of academic and social spaces centered around a common area to give the facility the feel of a multiple-building campus, similar to a college, while keeping the students in a secure environment. Faculty offices are located in a “perch,” a large, cubic space suspended on the second floor, from which faculty can view the various academic spaces. Upperclassmen are housed on the first floor, allowing for more freedom and unstructured time, while the lower grade levels are on the second floor for a more structured, controlled environment in closer proximity to teachers. Multiple spaces for informal learning are incorporated throughout the building. This project is a $113.5 million, 590,000-square-foot behemoth, complete with a medical tech lab, a restaurant-worthy kitchen, a greenhouse, a broadcast studio, and an indoor football practice facility. Working under tight deadlines, our team completed the new high school along with a new sports arena, indoor practice space, and natatorium. This is the largest project to date for Prosper Independent School District.

GUNSMOKE TV CAST AND DETAILS Premiered: September 10, 1955, on CBS Rating: TV-PG Premise: This landmark adult Western centered on Marshal Matt Dillon of Dodge City. John Wayne turned down the lead, suggesting James Arness (who remained for its entire run). Originating on radio (with William Conrad as Dillon), it moved to TV in September 1955. Its popularity spawned a number of copycats, but none would enjoy the longevity (and few the consistent quality) of this classic. Airing for 20 years, it's TV's longest running prime-time drama (a record that `Law & Order' is currently chasing). Most U.S. states and jurisdictions are experiencing substantial or high levels of community transmission fueled by the spread of the highly contagious B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant. COVID- 19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths continue to increase, es- pecially in communities with lower vaccination coverage like McLennan County. In the past 7 days, we have seen a 46%, 85%, and 350& increase in COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations, and fatalities in McLennan County. While the number of people getting vaccinated also continues to increase, many people re- main unsure about getting vaccinated, and others do not plan to do so. On July 27, 2021, CDC announced updated Guidance for COVID- 19 Prevention Strategies based on emerging evidence of the B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant. CDC recommends that all people, re- gardless of vaccination status, wear masks in public indoor settings in areas of substantial or high transmission. A new CDC study supports previous findings that B.1.617.2 (Delta) is highly contagious, and is contributing to an in- crease in cases, including those with severe outcomes and those due to vaccine breakthrough infections.

How about eighth grade, when it was your turn to be the graduate? This year, August 11 kicked off the start of the 2010-11 school year and it was like a breath of fresh air for St. Andrew Catholic School teachers, students and parents. Mr. Charles Llewellyn, who officially assumed duties as the school’s principal in July 2010, stood front and center on the steps and warmly welcomed the students. His genuine enthusiasm is contagious and was echoed by new assistant principals, Tracy Macfarlane and Albert Herrera, as they moved through the school smiling and greeting more than 700 students in grades K-8. Llewelyn himself is a product of a Catholic education, born and raised in Fort Worth and the youngest of eight children, he attended St. Rita Catholic School. He attended The University of Texas at Arlington on a baseball scholarship and graduated with a BA in Communication in 1993 and also from Texas Wesleyan with a Master of Arts in Teaching in 1996.
