LSU is riding the momentum of a solid 197.225 in Fayetteville against No. 11 Arkansas on Friday. It marked the first time the Tigers have scored higher than a 197 at Arkansas as LSU registered a 49.375 on vault, 49.200 on bars, 49.250 on beam and 49.400 on floor. Ashleigh Gnat picked up the first individual title of her career with a 9.90 on vault, sharing the title with Rheagan Courville. Sarie Morrison earned her third bars title of the season and 23rd of her career with a 9.925, while Courville and Jessie Jordan shared the beam crown with 9.925s. For the first time all season, Courville did not win the all-around title as she finished .025 behind Arkansas’ Katherine Grable (39.625-39.600). LSU matched its season high on beam with a 49.250, highlighted by Courville and Jordan’s 9.925s to close out the meet. The Tigers enter the meet against the Sooners with momentum after scoring a 197.650 at home against Alabama before the 197.225 at Arkansas. LSU has posted a 197 score in three straight meets and four of the first five meets this season. The Tigers are 9-9 all-time against Oklahoma, but LSU has not won against OU since 2009 at the NCAA Championships.
