TEAM NOTES  Hottest game in team history  Chris Hogan has second career two- game in the regular season

HOTTEST GAME IN TEAM HISTORY The temperature at kickoff was 97 degrees, the hottest kickoff temperature for a Patriots game in team history. The previous high was 94 degrees at kickoff on Sept. 29, 1991 at Phoenix, a 24-10 Cardinals victory. It was the first game in the NFL above 95 degrees since the New York Giants played at the Dallas Cowboys on Sept. 8, 2013, when the kickoff temperature was 96 degrees. Since 2000, the Patriots have had just two games that were played in 90-degree weather – at Carolina on Sept. 18, 2005 and at the New York Jets on Sept. 14, 2008. The temperature at kickoff was 90 degrees in both of those games.

PATRIOTS ALLOW AN OPEING DRIVE TD FOR FIRST TIME IN 11 GAMES The Jaguars scored a touchdown on their opening drive, the first opening drive touchdown allowed by the Patriots since a game at the New York Jets on Oct. 15, 2017. The Patriots had gone 11 straight games without allowing an opening touchdown drive.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

BRADY HAS LONGEST RUN SINCE 2016 QB had a 10-yard run on a third-down in the third quarter, his longest run since he had a 15-yard run on Oct. 30, 2016 at Buffalo. His longest career run is a 22-yard run at Cincinnati on Oct. 1, 2006

BRADY TIED FOR MOST TOUCHDOWN PASSES FOR A PLAYER IN HIS 40S Brady threw two touchdown passes and now has 37 total at age 40-plus, tied with Warren Moon, who had 37 total touchdowns in his 40s. Brett Favre is second with 36 touchdowns in his 40s. Brady had 32 touchdowns in 2017 and has five touchdowns in two weeks of action in 2018.

BRADY MAKES JUST SECOND START IN 90 DEGREE WEATHER Brady made just his second career start when the game-time temperature was 90 degrees or higher. He lost his first start on Sept. 18, 2005 when the game time temperature reached 90 degrees in a 17- 17 loss at Carolina. The Jaguars game was 97 degrees at kickoff.

CHRIS HOGAN SCORES TWO TIMES WR Chris Hogan had two receiving touchdowns in a game for the second time in his career. He scored 7-yard touchdown pass and a 29-yard pass in the fourth quarter. He also scored two touchdowns vs. Houston on Sept. 24, 2017.

RB JAMES WHITE CAN CATCH RB James White finished with seven receptions for 73 yards. It is the sixth time that he has had 70 or more receiving yards and the eighth time that he has had seven or more receptions in a game.

HOLLISTER CATCHES LONG PASS OF HIS CAREER TE hauled in a 23-yard pass from QB Tom Brady during the first drive of the game, the longest reception of his career. He had a 19-yard reception vs. Houston on Sept. 24, 2017.

LB RECORDS SECOND CAREER INTERCEPTION LB Kyle Van Noy recorded his second career interception when he picked off a deflected Blake Bortles pass in the fourth quarter. His first interception came vs. the LA Rams on Dec. 4, 2016.

LINEUP NOTES

2018 FIRST-ROUND PICK RB MAKES HIS DEBUT First-round draft pick RB Sony Michel made his NFL debut. On his first offensive play in the first quarter he caught a 7-yard pass from QB Tom Brady.

TE JACOB HOLLISTER MAKES HIS 2018 DEBUT TE Jacob Hollister made his 2018 debut after missing the season-opener vs. Houston. He was in the starting lineup, his second career start. As a rookie in 2017 he started in a two- alignment at New Orleans on Sept. 17, 2017.

LAADRIAN WADDLE MAKES FIRST START OF THE SEASON T LaAdrian Waddle started at right tackle in place of , who was out with an injury. Waddle made four starts at right tackle in 2017.
