La Carrière Et La Famille De Minhotep Houtoutou Avec Une Note Sur La Date Du Permitage 1116-B Verso * La carrière et la famille de Minhotep Houtoutou Avec une note sur la date du pErmitage 1116-B verso * Margaritta Danilova Équipe Égypte Nilotique et Méditerranéenne – Laboratoire ASM Archéologie des Sociétés Méditerranéennes, UMR 5140, Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier, CNRS, MCC Avec la collaboration de Mohamed Ibrahim Aly (professeur émérite, Université d’Aïn Shams, ancien Ministre des Antiquités de l’Égypte) et la participation de Marc Gabolde (Équipe Égypte Nilotique et Méditerranéenne – Laboratoire ASM Archéologie des Sociétés Méditerranéennes, UMR 5140, Université Paul-Valéry Montpellier, CNRS, MCC) A STÈLE DE Minhotep Houtoutou (Musée du Caire 17/5/25/7 [S.R. 12041]) a été acquise par Daressy pour le Musée du Caire vers 1920 d’un habitant d’Abousir qui en avait semble-t-il vendu quelques fragments auparavant. Les 23 morceaux subsistants, L 1 assemblés, ont été publiés dans la foulée par cet égyptologue . Mohamed Ibrahim Aly a réexaminé le monument il y a dix ans et a proposé plusieurs améliorations 2. Tous deux l’attribuent au règne d’Horemheb, alors que Helck, qui donne une version corrigée du texte de Daressy aux pages 1512-1514 de ses Urkunden der 18. Dynastie 3, le datait du règne d’Amenhotep II 4 et Cl. Vandersleyen de celui d’Amenhotep III 5. Dans le cadre de mon travail de thèse sur « Les enfants du sérail et l’institution du Kap », un nouvel examen du monument a été effectué. La stèle, lors de l’observation, était d’un accès difficile en raison de la préparation de son déménagement pour le Grand Egyptian Museum et certaines parties n’ont pas pu être scrutées ni photographiées avec autant de soin qu’il aurait été nécessaire. Malgré cela, à l’aide de la photographie publiée par Mohamed Ibrahim Aly et des quelques clichés pris sur place au Musée du Caire, il a été possible de réaliser sinon un fac-similé du moins un relevé relativement précis de ce monument en calcaire haut d’un mètre quatre-vingt et large d’un mètre douze [fig. 1]. La stèle a semble-t-il été délibérément brisée afin de faciliter son transport et sa vente « à la découpe ». Il est probable que la base de la stèle soit en partie restée en place dans la tombe non localisée de Minhotep Houtoutou, quelque part entre Saqqâra nord et Abousir sud. 2 M. Uniwersytetu Poznańskiego 7, 61-614 Poznań [email protected] ABSTRACT: During the reign of the Amarna spouses, giving gold necklaces to royal officials took place (almost always) from the so-called Window of Appearance. From them, Akhenaten and Nefertiti, often with princesses, honoured deserved and devoted dignitaries. The popularity of the Window of Appearance closely relates to the introduction of a new religious system introduced by Akhenaten and Nefertiti. Ac- cording to the new religion, Akhenaten and Nefertiti were a pair of divine twins like Shu and Tefnut, who in the Heliopolitan theology, were the children of the god Atum – replaced by Aten in Amarna. The royal couple prayed to the main solar god, while their subjects prayed to the king and queen. Since Akhenaten per- formed the role of a priest through whom ordinary people could pray to the god, it was necessary to create a construction that would allow the king to meet with his subjects publicly. The Window of Appearance was such architectural innovation. It was crucial because the king was an intermediator between the peo- ple and the only right sun god, Aten. The Windows of Appearance were probably located in various places in Akhetaten, including the Great Palace, the King’s House, the North Palace, the Small Aten Temple and in the temples of the Sunshades of Re in the Kom el-Nana and Maru-Aten.

Important work has been done by scholars such as Assmann on the subject and this study hopes to build on that by taking the case of depictions of kings in Theban tombs, and discussing what they may tell us about the role of the king in the lives of the people. This study will focus on three types of scene; the king as a part of everyday life, the king as a historical figure, and the king as a 'divine' being. This will allow a more detailed study of how the king, and kingship, was understood by people who were not members of the royal court, or holders of high office.

The preliminary results indicated that heart was illustrated in different locations inside the tombs like on the walls of the hall, inner room, burial chamber and passage. Heart was represented in both the funerary scenes like purification and opening of the mouth and daily life scenes like offering food to the deceased in the 18th dynasty private tombs at Thebes especially in Sheikh Abd El Qurna Necropolis. No caso da necrópole de Amarna, esse projeto estava associado às reformas de Akhenaton e à ideia de purificação. No caso de Tebas, é possível associá-lo à exaltação da elite com restauração pós-amarniana de Amon. Para abordar o tema, analisamos cenas registradas nas tumbas dos funcionários que foram contemporâneos a ambos os momentos, assim como a articulação de tais cenas com a paisagem. Essa articulação é entendida como forma representação litúrgica, onde a visibilidade em relação ao templo e as relações de proximidade entre as tumbas funcionava como outra forma de materializar esses projetos. Nestes, participaram as elites, oferecendo exemplos de subordinação, em alguns casos, e de tensão, em outros. Palavras-chave: Egiptologia; Tumbas de Amarna; Tumbas Tebanas, Paisagem. ABSTRACT This paper explores the idea that considers ritual practice as a form of embodiment of political projects. In the case of the necropolis at Amarna, the project is associated with the reforms of Akhenaten and the idea of purification. For the Theban Necropolis, it is connected to the move back to orthodoxy after the Amarna Period. The subject is explored by means of analysing scenes in tombs of high officials contemporary to both moments.
