PUNJAB PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT SHORT NOTICE INVITING TENDERS. Items / percentage rate tenders for the following works are hereby invited from the approved contractors / firms of Public Health Engineering Department. Who have got their names renewed / enlisted for the financial year 2020-21 and have paid their renewal / enlistment fee with the Department. Tender shall be issued upto 23-02-2021 04:00 PM in the office of the undersigned and received on 24-02-2021 at 01:30 PM and opened 24-02-2021 at 02:00 PM in the Office of the Commissioner D.G.Khan Division D.G.Khan in the presence of intending bidders or their authorized agents with following terms and conditions:- 1 The contractors / firms are required to produce the Registration Certificate issued by the Pakistan Engineering Council, (PEC) Islamabad for the Calendar year 2020-21. 2 Tenders received telegraphically or by post will be rejected. No tender will be issued on the date of receipt of tenders. 4 No conditional tender shall be accepted / entertained. 5 The intending tenders may get the challan form No.32 from the Divisional Head Clerk and paid in the NBP(National Bank Of Pakistan)Main Branch, D.G.Khan upto 22-02-2021 upto 04.00 PM and tender documents issued by the Divisional Head Clerk upto 23-02-2021 at 04.00 PM on payment of tender fee in NBP Main Branch, D.G.Khan through Challan for No.32 that will be non-refundable. 6 Details / particulars of the work can be seen in the office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours. 7 No tender will be issued to the contractors whose progress on the works already in hand is behind the schedule.
8 The lowest bidders whose bide will be lesser than 5% below the estimated cost of the work shall have to deposit the difference between the estimated cost and the cost as per rates quoted by the bidder as additional performance security, which will be returned on successful completion of the contract. Failure to deposit the difference within seven days after receiving the tenders will result in forfeiture of the earnest money without any further notice. 9 The intending bidders shall also have to show original enlistment / renewal letter / receipt of enlistment renewal fee deposit and legal power of attorney issued by the firm duly registered by the sub registrar.
