Max is currently the European driver with most NASCAR starts and has driven and worked in almost all forms of the motor racing; Karting, F1, CART, Indycar, NASCAR, Sports-Car, amongst others. He is regarded as being one of the pioneers in the sport in improving overall ergonomic characteristics of the interior of any car he’s driven, focusing his attention on stock cars since being involved in the COT development with Hendrick Motorsport in 2005. Tati was born into racing with parents Emerson and Maria Helena Fittipaldi. She has a bachelor degree in Advertising and Psychology and a minor in Marketing, from the University of Miami. She is a proud member of the North Carolina Motorsports Advisory Council under Governor Pat McCrory. Max, Tatiana, and their 2 son’s, Marco and Matteo, live in Statesville, NC. All MPI wheels are designed and engineered in the USA and built in ITALY using the latest steering wheel technology and state of the art materials. MPI prides itself on several wins in CUP, NW, Truck, Late Models, Legends and local races. In 2014, MPI won its first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship with Kevin Harvick and Stewart Haas Racing, as well as its first XFINITY Series Championship with Chase Elliott and JR Motorsports. 7 shaped by a racer, for the best racers Max’s attention to detail and safety, his passion for motor sports, and never forgetting his “grass root” career start has translated into a unique STATE OF THE ART concept that is in all MPI products at feasible price points, targeted towards the budgets of racers around the globe. At MPI we take every aspect of construction and safety to our hearts, in the most accurate and dedicated way possible. To be INNOVATIVE we push the technology of our steering wheels to the limits, while still maintaining the highest level of safety. Before becoming an MPI product, our structures need to pass our internal quality control tests. Amongst the many is a “torque structural steering wheel test” that is considered one of the most severe on the “road car” market. Another is a “stress test” to see what our steering wheel does when load is applied to it, simulating what happens when a driver’s hands is kept on the steering wheel during a severe impact. We know that to produce the BEST PRODUCT on the market and be innovative we can not cut any corners. Like our founder MAX PAPIS, we are true to our values and pride ourselves in selling EXCELLENCE and not just another story. 8 STEERING WHEELS Anatomy of the Steering Wheel diameter thumb insert stripe/marker hole pattern spoke 10 #MPI Difference STEERING WHEEL STRUCTURE 2 rivets winged spoke 2 RIVETS WINGED SPOKE U-CHANNEL Rivets, U-Channel, & Winged Spoke Technology developed to increase SAFETY Hand applied rivet No welding point between spoke and u-channel 11 #MPI Differencez GRIP and COMFORT AMST ADVANCED MOLD SHAPING TECHNOLOGY Vibration Feeling (for better feedback) Washable material for dirt/off- road racing suede Polyurethane High grip All suede & grip applied by hand in Italy Best quality of suede Grip tested and approved by the best racers 12 MPI-MP-14/15/16-OE $399 Stock Car (lightweight) Steering Wheel Industry’s lightest stock car sw Steel structure Oval/Ergonomic grip with thumb insert Bright orange stripe/marker embedded in sw body CNC machined spokes Highest quality suede with parallel black stitching for unique look/durability 3x Hole pattern: 3 holes NASCAR CUP Lightweight centerpiece included CHAMP13 Diameter 14” 15” 16” Av.Weight (w/cp) 2.4lbs 2.5lbs 2.8lbs Dish Depth 3” 3.25” 3.5” 13 MPI-MP-14/15/16-O $399 Stock Car (lightweight) Steering Wheel Industry’s lightest stock car sw Steel structure Oval/Ergonomic grip Bright orange stripe/marker embedded in sw body CNC machined spokes Highest quality suede with parallel black stitching for unique look/durability Hole pattern: 3 holes Lightweight centerpiece included Diameter 14” 15” 16” Av.Weight (w/cp) 2.4lbs 2.5lbs 2.8lbs Dish Depth 3” 3.25” 3.5” 14 MPI-DP-13 $399 Stock Car (lightweight) Steering Wheel Industry’s lightest stock car sw Steel structure (only 13” available on market) Oval/Ergonomic grip Bright orange stripe/marker embedded in sw body CNC machined spokes Highest quality suede with parallel black stitching for unique look/durability Hole pattern: 3 holes Lightweight centerpiece included Diameter 13” Av.Weight (w/cp) 2.2lbs Dish Depth 3” 15 MPI-LM-15 $295 Late Model/ Stock Car Steering Wheel Late Model/Stock Car concept specific Steel structure Oval grip Bright orange stripe/marker embedded in sw body Highest quality suede Hole pattern: 3 holes Lightweight centerpiece included Diameter 15” Av.Weight (w/cp) 3.4lbs Dish Depth 3.25” 16 MPI-LM-15-A $295 Late Model/ Stock Car Steering Wheel Late Model/Stock Car concept specific Aluminum structure Oval grip Bright orange stripe/marker embedded in sw body Highest quality suede Hole pattern: 3 holes 2x NASCAR Whelen All Spoke: 3 slotted spokes American CHAMP Lightweight centerpiece included Diameter 15” Av.Weight (w/cp) 2 lbs Dish Depth 3.25” 17 MPI-BL-14-A $195 MPI-BL-14-PA $135 MPI-BL-14-A Bandolero/ Legends Steering Wheel Aluminum structure Bright orange stripe/marker embedded suede in sw body MPI-BL-14-A: Highest quality suede with parallel orange stitching for unique look/durability 2015 SNOWBALL MPI-BL-14-PA DERBY MPI-BL-14-PA: Polyurethane only grip CHAMP Slotted spokes for maximum weight reduction Hole pattern: 3 holes poly only Centerpiece sold separately - $40* grip *If bought together with steering wheel: MPI-BL-14-A: $225 MPI-BL-14-PA: $165 Dirt Friendly/ Diameter 14” washable Av.Weight 2.2 lbs Dish Depth 3.5” 18 MPI-DO-14-A $195 MPI-DO-14-HG $195 MPI-DO-14-A Off Road/SXS/Drifting/Track Days Steering Wheel Aluminum structure suede Bright orange stripe/marker embedded in sw body MPI-DO-14-A: Highest quality suede with parallel orange stitching for unique look/durability MPI-DO-14-HG: High grip material with crossed orange stitching for unique look/durability MPI-DO-14-HG* Slotted spokes for maximum weight

  • WEEK 5 Thursday July 9Th to Wednesday July 15Th Trev and the Late Jason Johnson - Feb 2018
Welcome to the Virtual Blog of the 2020 Mega Month of Money tour WEEK 5 Thursday July 9th to Wednesday July 15th Trev and the late Jason Johnson - Feb 2018 Kennedy Space Centre, Cape Canaveral - Florida tour 2012 Target Ganassi Indianapolis – Month of Money 2013 Page 1 of 9 Day 29 / Thursday July 9th We didn’t visit a cheese factory while in Wisconsin. After all, you need to leave something to do when you go back. We’d had a great time over the last five days, but it was now time to depart and go back down south into Illinois. After much soul searching, the chosen route for our 337 miles, six-hour journey to Springfield was a rather lacklustre drive. Apologies to anyone reading this who lives along Interstates 43 or 39. One of America’s favourite past times is arguing with your best friend or neighbour about what route to take when you’re driving long distance somewhere. There are so many choices and options that are possible, but every one of them will have some impediment that looms large in the mind of one of the debaters, but not at all to the other one. It’s actually good fun and it used to be standard procedure (pre-GPS units) in the days when road maps were indispensable for everyone. But not if you’re Stubb, the man with a mind like a steel trap. The night before he sets out, he grabs a pen and paper and sits down at the kitchen table and stares blankly into space for about 10 minutes.

  • 2020 Marketing Information
2020 MARKETING INFORMATION Pictured: 2019 CARS Tour Old North State Nationals WHAT IS THE CARS TOUR? The CARS Tour was formed out of the former USAR Hooters ProCup Series, long considered the premiere short track development series in the 2000s for drivers looking to advance their careers to the upper levels of NASCAR. Because so many CARS Tour competitors have dreams of competing in NASCAR, the cars raced in the CARS Tour closely resemble the racers seen in NASCAR except with less expensive technology and rules to control costs. The CARS Tour hosts two types of popular pavement short track racing divisions, with most being held as dual division events. This allows fans to catch the action of both the Super Late Model and Late Model Stock divisions racing at the same track on the same night, for the price of just one ticket. Late model stock cars, a machine from which the NASCAR Xfinity Series cars originated in the 1980s and is still popular in the southeast today, weigh in at over 3100 lbs, teaching drivers car control and momentum as they advance their career. The super late model cars boast nearly 600 horsepower and weigh in at less than 2800 lbs, the true speed demons of short track racing where drivers learn to handle large amounts of horsepower. The CARS Tour has attracted teams from across the motorsports industry, including teams competing annually owned by NASCAR notables Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Busch. In addition the tour has grown on loyal veteran short track drivers that fans have grown accustom to.

Choose a style of racecar. Name a venue. Chances are, Tony Stewart has proven victorious – in and out of the driver’s seat. After a 20-year NASCAR driving career, the last 18 of which were spent in the NASCAR Cup Series, Stewart retired from his NASCAR driving duties following the 2016 season to focus on his co-ownership of Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) with industrialist Gene Haas, and to partake in the kind of open-wheel dirt racing where his path to NASCAR began. Since first wheeling a go-kart in 1978 at a Westport, Indiana, racetrack, Stewart went on to score 12 driving championships. His most widely-known titles are the three he scored in the NASCAR Cup Series. Stewart earned his first crown in 2002 by beating veteran racer Mark Martin by 38 points, a second in 2005 when he bested Greg Biffle by 35 points and a third in 2011 when he outdueled Carl Edwards by virtue of a tiebreaker. The two ended the season tied in points, but Stewart’s five-win tally trumped Edwards’ lone victory. Championships begat championships for Stewart. The Columbus, Indiana, native came to NASCAR in 1999 by way of the IndyCar Series, where he was the series champion in 1997. And before he made his mark in Indy cars, Stewart made a name for himself in the rough-and-tumble world of the United States Auto Club (USAC).
