Abstract This research aims to investigate the amount of the application of teaching organization components in the centeral libraries of state universities. The research method is descriptive survey study and to achieving the research objectives a researcher-made questionnaire was used. It consisted of 35 closed questions for five component of teachable point of view, ideas, values, emotional energy, and edge. The statistical population consisted of 298 managers and librarians in centeral libraries of Alzahra University,Tarbiat Modares University, , , , Shahid Beheshti University, Amirkabir University of Technology, Sharif University of Technology, Allameh Tabataba'i University, and Art University. The sample was estimated 173 by using Cochran's formula and random stratified sampling method was used and 169 copies were returned. In factor analysis of questionnaire using KMO and Bartlett test, sufficienc of sample and factor exponent of variables was investigated and providing matrix of component, a fundamental variable of test was revealed. Using Cronbach's Alpha the reliability of the questionnaire was estimated 0.98 percent for the existing situation and 0.97 for the ideal situation. For analyzing the data SPSS and at descriptive statistics level frequency, percentage and mean and standard deviation and at inferential statistics One-sample t test, independent-samples T test, t2 Hotteling and analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. The finding based on the observed t showed that all the component in the existing situation were lower than the average and in the ideal situation were higher than average. The results of t2 Hotteling showed that in the existing situation the application of teachable poing of view and ideas was more than other component and the application of emotional energy was less than other component. But the respondents assessed the utility of values higher than ogher component and the utility of teachable point of view nad edge lower than other component.
