A SECURITY STRATEGY–PROPOSED

With all the projects that have been designed and proposed by Bambace Ltd, the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) system has been the backbone on which the surveillance strategy is based on.

Be it the Nation, a Company or an Individual, the strategy to deploy systems for surveillance and monitoring is based on the appropriate equipment acquired and deployed professionally. The equipment need to be responsive to the requirement that necessitates the deployment.

NATIONAL SECURITY AGENCIES - SAFETY and SECURITY GOAL

The Nation’s Security Agencies’ agenda in building a world class state will be based upon a number of key result areas. One of these is ENSURING a SAFE and SECURE STATE for PERSON and PROPERTY through sustained reduction in CRIME and other adverse incidences including mitigation against disasters.

The plan is to promote the Nation regionally and internationally, for industrial, trade and financial activities. The development and management of the plans to realise this GOAL is therefore critical.

THE CHALLENGES THAT NEED ADDRESSING

The following areas need attention:

 Traffic Management – dealing with flow control, junction improvements and signal control.

 Traffic Law Enforcement – restriction of on-street parking and restriction of vehicular access and driver illegal manoeuvres.

 Safety and Security is a major issue because rising urban violence and crime rates drive away investors and affect urban livelihoods.

WHAT CCTV CAN ACHIEVE

As part of the security plans for the Nation, teams of Quick Response units may be strategically deployed in and around the largely populated areas. These units are required to respond as quickly as possible whenever they are called to their assignments.

Directly or indirectly, the use of CCTV is going to have a great impact on the planning and management to achieve the high plans for the population (and the Country) just as it has on highly developed cities in other parts of the world.

Bambace Ltd – +233 264 568 568 Website – www.bambaceltd.com Email [email protected]

CCTV will certainly be effective in many areas including:

 Improving the business operating environment in the National capital, the big towns and its environs.

 Enhancing transport safety and security

 Ensuring a safe and secure Nation

 Assisting in the reduction and detection of crime and anti-social activities.

WHY CCTV IS A MUST-HAVE.

All existing successful metropolitan regions and capital cities in the world have first-class Security Systems in place based on the use of CCTV Systems. These operate 24-hours a day – operating when all other areas of the country are resting.

The UK, in general boasts having the largest number of CCTV cameras in the world – one camera for every 13 people in the UK (as in a report in March 2012).

THE FUTURE OF TECHNOLOGY IN SURVEILLANCE.

Bambace Ltd and Partnerships are exploring and testing new equipment in technology to advance the art of professional surveillance and monitoring operations. As part of the process of deploying new and tested kit for covert Security and Safety activities, the following will be undertaken:

 Night Vision monitoring

 Under Water Surveillance

 Aerial Surveillance

 Through Walls monitoring

 Underground Surveillance.

In 2016-2017, Bambace Ltd will advance the use of mobile surveillance equipment with On-Board (Dash-Board) cameras as well as Mobile CCTV Systems deployed with GPS Tracking systems. These are aimed at individuals as well as for fleet deployment.

Bambace Ltd – +233 264 568 568 Website – www.bambaceltd.com Email [email protected]

Page 20 of 28 THE PROPOSED SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

In order to appreciate the whole system and strategy, it is recommended that the proposed integrated Closed Circuit Television System should be undertaken in a phased implementation.

The Integrated System will be designed to cover any desirable systems and to take into consideration any future additions which may include the following:

a. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) b. Traffic Monitoring System c. Fire Alarm Systems d. Intruder Alarm Systems e. Town Centre Help/Call Points f. Tracking of human and vehicular movement g. Quick Response Communication Systems.

THE MONITORING ROOM & COMMUNICATION LINKS The Integrated System will have links and communications to all offices and departments which may be required to respond to operations of the Monitoring System. These may include the following organisations:

a. The Police b. Other Law Enforcement and other State Security organisations c. The Ambulance and Medical Agencies d. Other offices which may be required in times of emergencies

THE DESIGN AND ARCHITECTURE The centre of the system is the CCTV operations. Included are the types of cameras which are selected for their capabilities and appropriateness to the locations where they are deployed. These will come as static or pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) cameras. The outputs from these cameras will be centrally recorded in a server room in network video recorders. This will enable monitoring to be done remotely as well as in the central monitoring room.

The system is designed to be powered by MAINS but alternative sources such as SOLAR POWER may be used for a number of reasons:

 Isolation of the system  Preferred means of power  Operationally the best power source

Bambace Ltd – +233 264 568 568 Website – www.bambaceltd.com Email [email protected]

Page 21 of 28 THE TECHNOLOGY The Network surveillance technology provides flexible, scalable, and cost-effective surveillance solutions suitable for a wide range of industries and applications. With a network video surveillance setup, users can monitor and record video remotely using an IP or 3G network as the system's backbone. These video installations can be deployed in any environment.

CAMERA CAPABILITIES:

 Intelligent Surveillance and Advanced video analytics capability

o Motion detection at near infra-red o Body heat sensing o Object missing/added o People count o Facial recognition in conjunction with other systems o Integrated event triggering o Reverse movement tracking o Tracking subjects in real-time. o Integration capability with alarm systems

THE CUSTOM-BUILD SYSTEM The Bambace Ltd projects are designed to specific needs after careful study with the Client of their needs. The prototype Operational Requirement is generated to suit and meet the Clients’ specification. This is discussed and agreed along a project schedule before implementation commences.

Our systems always provide for flexibility, scalability and cost-effectiveness.

YOUR SECURITY PROTOCOL To have a serious approach to your appropriate security provision for your BUSINESS and OPERATIONS, you need to have a COMPANY SECURITY PROTOCOL.

Bambace Ltd will design one for you to guide you in your security provision. This will cover every aspect of your security requirement.
