The end goal of this project is to identify positive examples of existing connections in the area, and to identify ways to improve in places that present opportunities for good transportation infrastructure, such as signage, trails, crosswalks, and transit. In order to accomplish those goals, the class collected surveys from west side residents about their thoughts on topics such as neighborhood uses and possible changes to North Temple and the Jordan River Parkway Trail. Those survey results were combined with information collected from six focus groups comprised of approximately 18 residents of west side communities.
