CHARLTON ATHLETIC FOOTBALL CLUB Coach / Train Directions to Charlton Athletic FC CHARLTON ATHLETIC FOOTBALL CLUB CHARLTON ATHLETIC FOOTBALL CLUB THE VALLEY FLOYD ROAD CHARLTON LONDON SE7 8BL TELEPHONE 0208 333 4000 Directions for away supporters coaches travelling to Charlton Athletic F.C From the North via Dartford Crossing Take the M1 southbound to M25 (junction 6a), then clockwise on M25 to Dartford Bridge. Cross over the bridge to A2 (junction 2). Take A2 London bound until road becomes A102. Take the turn off sign posted A2203 GREENWICH PENINSULA. At traffic lights on slip road, turn right to the roundabout then take the third exit signposted WOOLWICH FERRY and CHARLTON (A206). This road is Bugsbys Way. Stay on this road and go straight across the next set of traffic lights and straight across the following roundabout. Shortly after you will see a MAKRO warehouse on your right. Coaches should park on the north kerb of Bugsbys Way opposite MAKRO or turn right at the roundabout and park on the east kerb of Anchor and Hope Lane. Alternative route from the North via Blackwall Tunnel (Note Blackwall Tunnel has a height restriction of 4m (13’4”) Take the M1 southbound to M25 (junction 6a), then clockwise on M25 (following signs for the Dartford Crossing) take the exit at the M11 (junction 27). Head South on the M11 until you see signs for the A12. Turn onto the A12 towards the Blackwall Tunnel. Once through the Blackwall tunnel you will be on the A102. Take the exit marked A2203 GREENWICH. At the bottom of the slip road turn left to the roundabout then take the third exit signposted WOOLWICH FERRY and CHARLTON (A206). This road is Bugsbys Way. Stay on this road and go straight across the next set of traffic lights and straight across the following roundabout. Shortly after you will see a MAKRO warehouse on your right. Coaches should park on the north kerb of Bugsbys Way opposite MAKRO or turn right at the roundabout and park on the east kerb of Anchor and Hope Lane. From East, West, South All onto M25, then to junction 2 (as above) COACH COMPANIES MUST COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING: Upon arrival at Bugsbys Way / Anchor and Hope Lane, there will be a Police Officer to greet you. Passengers are to alight here and will be directed to the Football stadium and the away supporters’ pubs if required. Drivers of the coaches are to ensure that they do not drop off passengers any earlier than one hour and forty-five minutes before kick off. In the event of coaches being late please contact the Valley Control Police room on the following number 020 8858 6181. Do not stop within ten miles of travelling to or from the ground, except in an emergency. Do not stop for refreshments at any place where intoxicating liquor is available. Do not carry intoxicating liquor. If there are 12 or less away supporters coaches attending, they will all be moved to Valley Grove (away exit) at half time. Drivers must remain with their vehicles and be ready to move at half time if directed to do so. Charlton Athletic Away Supporter coaches drop off and Pick up point Coach Drop off point Pick up point (12 coaches or less) By Train Charlton BR Station is situated approximately two minutes walking distance from The Valley with a regular service both to and from Charing Cross / Waterloo / London Bridge. The journey between London and Charlton takes approximately twenty-five minutes. By car Car parking in the streets around Charlton Athletic is very limited, with strictly enforced residents parking schemes and match day restrictions around the stadium. If driving it is advisable to park well away from the stadium. Disabled Parking There are a limited number of disabled parking bays available at Charlton Athletic but these must be pre-booked with the club and are issued on a first come first served basis. .
