27 holes, three different combinations

Lauro 27 Golf can be found in the middle of beautiful pure nature in spectacular surroundings. The course consists of 27 holes that can be played in three different combinations, all par 72. From the beginning the design and function of the course has been based on respecting the nature and the environment that surrounds it by not only saving and caring for the already existing trees but also by planting thousands of new trees, most of them indigenous Andalusian species.

In Lauro Golf the nature is everywhere. Within the whole complex the direct contact with the nature is constant and whether you are playing golf, living in the residences or just enjoying a stroll in the surroundings you can see that we are not the only visitors at Lauro Golf. You can often see rabbits, ducks, partridges, herons and even eagles on and around the golf course, our friendly neighbours who are enjoying the micro-climate of the course created by the thousands of trees and the fourteen lakes of the golf course.

The course was designed by the late Folco Nardi and the idea was to create a course that was technically challenging yet not too difficult. With a good concentration and the correct selection of the clubs the player can end up with a good score in one of the 50 competitions played every year at Lauro Golf.

The extension of the course with the holes 19-27 designed by Mariano Benitez follows the same lines and equally requires concentration and skills. The course is moderately flat and can be played by foot though there are two holes located on the side of the mountain and from which we can enjoy some spectacular views over the valley of Guadalhorce and the Mediterranean.

The club house is located in an old Andalusian building, Cortijo el Paredón, where you can fin the restaurant, changing and locker rooms, pro shop and the Caddy Master´s Office. On our premises and the surroundings you can also find a swimming pool, a padel tennis club, lawn bowls club and an equestrian centre. In the middle of the cortijo there is a fabulous patio, with an enormous ficus tree in the middle which offers shade to the players enjoying their food and drinks after a game of golf.

CANCELLATIONS Cancellations will only be accepted in writing or by email quoting your name and reservation number. Refund of Green Fees is based on the cancellation policy of the respective golf course. At No Show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.

In Alhaurín Golf you can enjoy one of the most spectacular golf courses in Spain. This 18 - hole par 72, designed by legendary player Severiano Ballesteros, has excellent views of the Sierra de Mijas and the Mediterranean Sea. It is located on uneven terrain, which gives it a great personality, which added to the original design of the great Seve make it challenging for the good player and great entertainment for the middle and high handicaps. It has three holes 5 pairs, 5 pairs 8 pairs five to four, all of them perfectly differentiated from each other. Challenging, demanding, original and fun. Over these 18 holes you can enjoy the superb contrast between the manicured fairways, roughs and wild surroundings of the Sierra de Mijas.

In Alhaurín Golf you can also enjoy a 9 - hole par 3. It is a unique tour of its beauty and unique layout. Is not only an excellent place to start playing this sport, but also is a perfect route to train on the short game.

The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse will offer all kinds of services for practicing golf. Restaurant "Hoyo 46" offers a full menu serving authentic Andalusian cuisine with international touches. PROCEDURE FOR RAINY DAYS In case of rainy days, Alhaurín Golf will provide you the following possibilities: - To wait until the rain stops or to stop the game and continue when the rain stops. - To get a rain voucher, valid for 2 years, to be used depending on the season your are playing. Rain vouchers will be issued for 18 holes if the players stop the game between hole 1 and 9. Or for 9 holes if they stop between hole 10 and 15. No Rain Voucher will be issued after played the 16th hole.

During the last decades, Mijas Golf has become one of the most popular golf complexes in Europe, known by the outstanding condition of their courses and the friendly atmosphere and excellent service provided to the clients.

The courses, Los Lagos and Los Olivos, are situated in the valley of Mijas, north of Fuengirola, only twenty minutes from the Málaga international airport and Marbella, and 3.5 kms. from the sea.

Keeping the original design of Robert Trent Jones Sr., the course has been totally refurbished in 2012.

The gentle outlines of Los Lagos course in contrast to the stunning appearance of our “Bridge-ball” cannot leave any body indifferent; proving that it is possible to mix tradition and innovation on the same scenery. This bridge project was created by the local company Tegobi & Sons and the designed was developed by José González.

LOS LAGOS

Lagos is a course with soft slopes, wide fairways and few forest trees obstacles; but at the same time, is defended by many bunkers, and not less than nine lakes (from which the course gets its name), which are eager to trap each and anyone’s ball. In addittion, the greens are large and flat with sensitive undulations and the wide tees which can be accommodated to reduce or enlarge the difficulty to choice. Therefore, this course is suitable for all the kind of handicap players, being one of the most famous commercial courses of the Costa del Sol.

LOS OLIVOS

Los Olivos is a course best suited for players gifted with a higher technical ability and precision in their game; which along with its brother Los Lagos, remains one of the most famous commercial courses of the Costa del Sol.

Three superb championship courses, each presenting its own unique challenges, slot seamlessly into a natural undulating backdrop of stunningly beautiful trees and flowers, rich with birds and wildlife. We’re passionate about our golfing pedigree and it shows. Designed by the renowned Cabell Robinson, each 18-hole course has been created to ensure a testing, yet truly exhilarating experience.

Campo America 6009 meters, par 72 with five par 5s. Formerly the North Course, Campo America is enhanced by spectacular views to the Sierra de Ojén and Mediterranean Sea. It’s wide, linked fairways and relatively few bunkers make this a slightly easier driving course, though the hilly topography requires a lot of carry across steep brush-covered side slopes. while the small raised greens demands more precise club selection to hit the mark. There are water hazards on the 9th and 16th.

Campo Asia 5925 metres, par 72. Formerly the South Course, the spectacular Campo Asia has plenty of challenging holes, guaranteeing a testing round of golf which puts a premium on the approach shot. The oldest of our three courses and the one most respected by the professionals, it is narrow and short, with four par 5 holes demanding skill and strategy. Look out for the 10th with its classic design, and the 5th where the aim of your drive is especially critical. The 18th requires full concentration. Remember not to over-club off the tee or this lengthy par 5 could spoil your scorecard.

Campo Europa 6014 metres, par 71. A dramatic course but easier for the average golfer, with generous fairways, flatter terrain and slightly larger greens than Campo America and Asia. Notable for one main bridge and four smaller bridges across the River Ojén, which features in eight holes, cutting across three fairways. There are four tunnels for golf carts. Water hazards guard the 3rd and 14th greens. The 14th is at the maximum limit of what is allowed for a par 3 at 233 metres. The par 5 11th is the longest hole at 524 metres.

Cabopino Golf is located at the easternmost end of Marbella facing the Cabopino yachting marina. The 18 holes course was designed by the architect Juan Ligués Creus and has spectacular views of the Mediterranean, as well as beautiful vegetation with a profusion of magnificent wide crowned pines.

The course has three par 3, two par 5 and the rest are par 4. The longest hole is the 14th, a 456 meters par 5 with a wide and undulating green protected at the front and rear with lakes. The most spectacular hole is undoubtedly the 3rd, which according to numerous comments is one of the most beautiful of the Costa del Sol, a par 4 with a high exit and a green surrounded by bunkers at a height of about 80 meters. Also worth mentioning are the 13th and 15th, both par 3 protected by lakes, and the 10th with panoramic view to the Mediterranean Sea.

Cabopino is a course where both, high handicap and more experienced players can enjoy themselves. The course features also a Golf Academy, located at the access to the premises. The Academy has magnificent facilities with a putting green, bunkers and approach areas, practice areas in carpet and grass, according to the play level. The driving range can accommodate 30 players with a length of 200 metres and a width of 160 metres, and includes a wide variety of distance marks for all types of shots. The Academy offers a wide range of classes; private, special groups for children and women as well as corporate courses.
