    Rich Beem Wins PGA Championship Using Callaway Golf's CTU 30 Ball; Callaway Golf Leads All Manufacturers With Five Major Championship Golf Ball Victories in 2002 August 19, 2002 CARLSBAD, Calif., Aug 19, 2002 (BW SportsWire) -- Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) emerged as the 2002 major championship winner among golf ball manufacturers yesterday as Rich Beem scored a dramatic victory at the PGA Championship using the CTU 30(R) golf ball. Beem's thrilling one-stroke win over Tiger Woods at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn., marked the fifth major championship won in 2002 by a player using Callaway Golf(R) balls. No other ball manufacturer compiled more than three victories in the 12 major championships contested across the PGA, Senior PGA and LPGA tours this year. Callaway Golf is also the only ball manufacturer to record major championship wins on each of those three tours in 2002. Beem, a Callaway Golf Ball Staff Professional, was one of five golfers to post a top-10 finish at the PGA Championship using golf balls made by Callaway Golf. Callaway Golf Ball Staff Professionals Fred Funk and Mark Calcavecchia finished fourth and seventh, respectively, using the HX(R) Red golf ball. Stuart Cox was elected to the Board in November 2011. He is the Managing Director of Alldis & Cox Estate Agents in Sydney. Robert Crosby was elected to the Board in November 2012. Bob spent more than 30 years at the National Australia Bank in a variety of senior management positions. John Karren was appointed as Director to the Board in February 2012. He is a former senior executive at Accenture Australia where he spent nearly 30 years in consulting and strategic planning. Kerri-Anne Kennerley was appointed as a Director to the Board in April 2013. Kerri-Anne is a familiar face to many Australians with more than 30 years’ experience in television, entertainment and business. Michael Sammells was re-elected to the Board in November 2013.     Q-LINK ON MAJOR GOLF TOURS The Q-Link pendant is currently worn by more than 300 touring professional golfers on the four major golf tours (PGA, Champions, LPGA, and European). It was worn by players during victories in more than 10 major golf championships. It was worn by the members of the European Ryder Cup team when it beat the U.S. in 2002. It was worn when the decades old PGA 72 hole scoring record was broken by Mark Calcavecchia.
