Baa Atoll is located approximately 60 miles North west of Velana International Airport.

The Atoll is known for its globally significant biodiversity with its conservation of whale sharks, manta rays, soft corals and many other feeding and breeding grounds for a variety of fish.

Baa Atoll accommodates the world renowned Hanifaru Bay, popular site during Western Monsoon with an aggregate of Whale sharks and Manta rays for feeding. This site along with many other sites in Baa Atoll is declared as UNESCO protected area for its unique Biodiversity. Goidhoo

Goidhoo Island lies 52 nautical miles from Velana International Airport, in a small separate atoll along with and islands.

The Admiralty Chart describes this atoll as ‘Horsburgh Atoll’. Unlike other atolls in the , this atoll has a lagoon that is uniquely free of coral heads in the center.

Goidhoo is surrounded by a large outer reef teeming with rich marine life, making it a beautiful spot for fishing and snorkeling. It is also surrounded by an inhabited island and 7 sandbanks.

The friendly people of Goidhoo make a living through farming and fishing. You will see hundreds of vegetable farms across the island.

Goidhoo is a relatively larger island with a population of just 783 people, and is known for its untouched and secured beaches and marine life. In Goidhoo one can experience the natural beauty of the Maldives with a feel for our own culture and unity. Our story

Here at Olive Goidhoo, you can experience the local culture with an appreciation for nature in a minimalist setting. Olive Goidhoo is a beautifully designed 12 bedroom Boutique Hotel, with an outdoor terrace that overlooks the ocean and the island’s vast greenery and agricultural fields.

We are located on the beach at the uniquely formed Goidhoo, that administratively belongs to the larger Baa Atoll.

We opened our doors on 26th January 2018 and have been serving happy customers since.

Our rooms are modernly furnished with en-suite bathroom with hot and cold shower facilities and individually controlled air-conditioning. Also each room has a private Balcony with seating.

All the rooms offer a spectacular view of either the sea or greenery of farms (or both) and are equipped with individual tea and coffee making facilities for your convenience. Rooms are also fitted with in-room safes for your valuables. Accommodation

All our rooms are furnished with king-size beds. In six of the rooms, the beds can be converted into twin beds when required. All the rooms are approximately 29sqm in size including a spacious bathroom and a furnished balcony.

Deluxe Seaview Rooms (4 units): Located on first floor, decorated with earthy tones giving it a relaxing ambiance. Each room has a private balcony furnished with chairs and a table overlooking the turquoise huge lagoon. Sunsets are amazing!. Accommodation

Deluxe Gardenview Rooms (8 units): Situated on both ground and first floor of the building. These rooms accommodate an outside deck or a balcony furnished with chairs and a table facing the garden or the lavish island greenery or the farms where you can enjoy your morning coffee or simply enjoy a good read. Deluxe Family Rooms (1 unit): These are two Gardenview Rooms on the ground floor, which is inter-connected hence convertible for families. The ideal setting for those who travel with the children. These rooms are also spacious enough for extra beds as well. Dining

Olive Goidhoo is the place to enjoy the distinct flavours of the Maldives as well as international cuisine.

Our in-house restaurant ‘Omala’ offers number of dining options from buffet, a la carte to mouth-watering sea food BBQs. Our two week set-menu buffet consists of some authentic home-made local flavors too.

If you like to enjoy a meal in a more romantic manner, we’ll setup candle lit private dinners on the beach where you can enjoy each other at the sound of the waves with beautiful colors of sunsets. Juice bar & Café’

Our Juice Bar offers the most colourful, flavoursome tropical drinks that will keep you wanting more and more. It is also one of the few place in the area where you can enjoy and appreciate home-grown ‘organic’ fruits such as magoes, Gauvas, Rose apples and Passion fruit.

For coffee lovers, it offers varieties of ILLY Italian coffee made of highest quality of Arabica coffee. Rooftop Terrace

Measuring aprox 90sqm , the Rooftop terrace offers breath-taking view of the vast lagoon and the magical colous of the sunset without any obstructions. This is the perfect place for an evening snack with tea or coffee.

Relax…enjoy the view, lay on the beach… Take a relaxing swim in the clear waters…. go on a picnic to a sandbank… BUT we have much more…

How about Big Game Fishing? Night Fishing? Or even more exciting.. a day of snorkeling with the Mantas or Turtles? We also offer Scuba diving for those who like to go deeper. How about some exciting water sports? Jet-skiing, surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing, wake boarding and paddle boarding….you choose!

We encourage all our guests to get in touch with the local life while you stay in Goidhoo. Take a bike ride around the island, visit the vegetable farms and talk to the locals as they are the most friendly people you will ever come across. You are always welcome to join the local youth for a game of football or volleyball as well. How do I get there? The Transfers

The common transfer method is by speedboats. We offer transfer to Goidhoo for individual guests by local speedboat ferry. It takes about 1hr 40mins by speedboat from either the Airport or Male’ city.

There is also the option of domestic air transport to the nearest airport. It takes about 20 mins to airport and further 40 mins by speedboat to reach Goidhoo.

Private speedboat transfer is always available upon request and are ideal for bigger groups. Quick facts
