LaHayes back Huckabee for president December 12, 2007 ¦ Mitzi Bible Liberty University Board of Trustees members Tim and Beverly LaHaye formally endorsed Republican Mike Huckabee for president at Huckabee’s Des Moines, Iowa, campaign headquarters on Dec. 4. The endorsement followed a pastor’s policy briefing conference attended by the LaHayes and 60 other religious leaders from Iowa. Mat Staver, Dean of the School of Law at LU, spoke at the event and was there to witness the endorsement. “It was a major event in Iowa to have Tim and Beverly there to endorse Mike Huckabee along with 60 other pastors and religious leaders,” he said. “I think it reflects the rise in polls in what we’re seeing across the country with conservative Christians endorsing Huckabee.” Tim LaHaye, author of the apocalyptic “Left Behind” novels, said during the 25 years he has known Mike Huckabee, “he has proven himself to be a Christian conservative who stands without apology for the pro-life, pro-marriage platform that is so important in this time of moral collapse,” according to a news release from the Huckabee campaign. -
Rev. Falwell, Rev. Sun Myung Moon And
Rev. Falwell, Rev. Sun Myung Moon and The Love of Money In this teaching we will be looking at the ‘fruit' of some of the most prominent ‘Christian' figures in America. This list will include: The late Rev. Jerry Falwell, Timothy La Haye 'Left Behind', Gary Bauer, Bill Bright, Paul Crouch, Dr. James Dobson, Rev. Billy Graham, Dr. D. James Kennedy, Beverly La Haye, Ralph Reed, Pat Robertson, Rev. James Robison, Phyllis Schlafly, George Bush Sr. and Jr., Dr. Robert Schuller I and II Jerry Falwell. Jesus said by their fruits “ye shall know them”, which is in reference to the fruit of a true Christian as opposed to a pseudo Christian tare. We will be looking at the undeniable documented financial links of the people listed above cult leader Rev. Sun Myung Moon of the Unification Church of Korea. Unbelievably Rev. Moon was actually crowned Messiah and Savior of Earth on March 23, 2004 at the Dirksen Senate Office Building in Washington D.C, where scores of Christian leaders as well as several U.S. Senators and Representatives met for this very blasphemous occasion. Southern Baptist leaders were on hand, as were Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) President Paul Crouch, Reverend Jerry Falwell, Rev. Robert Schuller, Kenneth Copeland, Pat Boone and many others. Moon claims Jesus failed on his mission to earth but Moon has not. This is one of the largest smoking guns and flagrant moves ever made and condoned by main stream Christian figures and politicians. This information is based on highly referenced, factual evidence. The One Thousand Year Reign of Christ
Empowering People to Change the World The One Thousand Year Reign of Christ Steve Holt © Steve Holt | TheRoad.org The One Thousand Year Reign of Christ Prayer • All of us are called to pray: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” • Jesus wants us to request the kingdom on earth in our prayers. • We are longing for order, stability, joy and peace. But guess what church? It will not completely happen until Christ returns and Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire. • In chapter 20 we are gazing into the Kingdom Age, the 1000 year reign of Christ. o What is the kingdom of God? In the Greek it means “the rule and reign of Christ.” o This will be an earthly utopia in which God’s will, rule and reign comes from heaven to the earth. o This Kingdom Age is described as being for 1000 years and is mentioned 6 times. o The Latin phrase is “millennium.” The word millennium is not in the Bible. o The Greek word is chilia meaning, for 1000 years, and the church is divided on this issue. Three positions on this issue are held by reputable scholars on all sides of the issue: 1. The A-millennial position- this position does not believe that there will be a literal thousand year reign of Christ. © Steve Holt | TheRoad.org !2 a. They believe that this is completely a symbolic meaning for a long period of time. b. This view interprets Old Testament prophecies of a millennium as being fulfilled spiritually now in the church today. -
Markets Not Capitalism Explores the Gap Between Radically Freed Markets and the Capitalist-Controlled Markets That Prevail Today
individualist anarchism against bosses, inequality, corporate power, and structural poverty Edited by Gary Chartier & Charles W. Johnson Individualist anarchists believe in mutual exchange, not economic privilege. They believe in freed markets, not capitalism. They defend a distinctive response to the challenges of ending global capitalism and achieving social justice: eliminate the political privileges that prop up capitalists. Massive concentrations of wealth, rigid economic hierarchies, and unsustainable modes of production are not the results of the market form, but of markets deformed and rigged by a network of state-secured controls and privileges to the business class. Markets Not Capitalism explores the gap between radically freed markets and the capitalist-controlled markets that prevail today. It explains how liberating market exchange from state capitalist privilege can abolish structural poverty, help working people take control over the conditions of their labor, and redistribute wealth and social power. Featuring discussions of socialism, capitalism, markets, ownership, labor struggle, grassroots privatization, intellectual property, health care, racism, sexism, and environmental issues, this unique collection brings together classic essays by Cleyre, and such contemporary innovators as Kevin Carson and Roderick Long. It introduces an eye-opening approach to radical social thought, rooted equally in libertarian socialism and market anarchism. “We on the left need a good shake to get us thinking, and these arguments for market anarchism do the job in lively and thoughtful fashion.” – Alexander Cockburn, editor and publisher, Counterpunch “Anarchy is not chaos; nor is it violence. This rich and provocative gathering of essays by anarchists past and present imagines society unburdened by state, markets un-warped by capitalism. -

Timely Questions about Preterism and it’s Reconstruction Ally This article was originally from two timely editorials of The Standard Bearer Vol. 75; No. 10; February 15, 1999 (A Timely Question about Preterism), and Vol. 75; No. 16; May 15, 1999 (The Preterism of Christian Reconstruction). http://www.mountainretreatorg.net/eschatology/preterist.html Part I: A Timely Question about “Preterism” by Prof. David Engelsma A reader has asked about “preterism.” The question is occasioned by the series of editorials defending (Reformed) amillennialism (Standard Bearer, Jan. 15, 1995 — Dec. 15, 1996). The subject is worthy of editorial treatment. The question and my response follow. Question I have read your articles on amillennialism and have learned much. I have some dealings with people who hold to a postmillennial view. Lately, some people have come to our church who hold to a preterist view. Do you know much about this view? Do you know what good books or articles I could read? They deny the second coming of Christ and many other important truths. I hope that you can help me. Michael Mc Cullough Ripon, CA Response What “Preterism” is Your question is timely. “Preterism” is a heresy that, astonishingly, is creeping into Reformed and Presbyterian churches. That it does so is largely due to postmillennial Christian Reconstructionism. Against this error I was fighting in the series of editorials that occasioned your question. Your question is also timely because preterism is about time, specifically the time of Jesus’ second coming, the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the renewal of the creation. -

Is this a part of the further development of the apostasy that many premillenni- alists say is taught in the Bible? Or is this "posf-Christian" culture3 one of the periodic visitations of a judgment/salvation4 which is furthering the coming of a posfmillennial kingdom? Leaders of the 1 Marilyn Ferguson, -

tI.S. SEetlRITIEG I.N9 COMMISSION ANItOUNCEIENTS EXCHANGE COMMISSION SEC GOVERNMENT BUSINESS FORUM ON SMALL BUSINESS CAPITAL FORMATION The. Securities and Exchange Commission is planning the first SEC Government Business Forum on Small Business Capital Formation in an attempt to establish a dialogue on the capital formation problems besetting the small business community. This program will provide a forum for small businesses, government regulatory agencies, and private sector organizations concerned with small business issues to discuss the existing impediments to small business capital formation particularly in the areas of taxa- tion, securities and credit. The Forum is scheduled to be held September 23-25, 1982, in Washington, D.C. The format of the Forum provides that participants will meet in working discussion groups of 15-20 persons to cover eight major issues with the intent of developing specific recommendations. In order to achieve these objectives, the size of the Forum must be limited. Each participant must be generally familiar with all the dis- cussion papers being prepared for distribution prior to the Forum. Further, each participant will be requested to act as a discussion leader on one major issue. Members of the public interested in being considered for active participation at the Forum should promptly complete and return the biographical sheet available from the Office of Small Business Policy, Division of Corporation Finance, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, 500 North Capitol Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20549 by August 2, 1982. The biographical sheet will facilitate the selection of small busi- nesspersons, lawyers, accountants and others who are knowledgeable in small business issues and who could make the most meaningful contribution to the Forum.
