ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POST OF JRF Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research fellow (JRF) with a fellowship of 31000/- pm + HRA (as applicable) in a AISTDF-SERB sponsored ASEAN-India Collaborative research project entitled “Understanding the scale of arsenic contamination in Southeast Asia (India, Thailand, Cambodia) and evaluation of feasible agronomic practices for arsenic reduction in rice” (Project No. M-21-206). The sanctioned duration of the project is two years. The post is temporary and is co-terminus with the project. Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have M.Sc. degree in Environmental Science/ Botany / Environmental Biotechnology/ Biotechnology, with at least 55% marks. Candidates should have qualified NET/GATE or equivalent qualifying examination. The upper age limit is 28 years, which is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
