Each student in their senior year chooses, plans, designs and prototypes a product in this required element of the curriculum. Working in teams, the senior design project encourages students to use everything they learned in their academic program to create a practical, real world solution to an engineering challenge. BEYOND THE CLASSROOM Because of the requirement to work in teams, students also build good communication skills, presentation skills, and even business writing skills. Kord berisi 3 atau lebih nada yang dimainkan secara bersamaan untuk menghasilkan sebuah nada yang harmonis. Untuk dapat memainkan gitar dengan baik, seseorang harus dapat menguasai pengetahuan tentang kord gitar. Untuk melatih kemampuan ini, biasanya mereka belajar dengan guru les atau otididak yang dapat dilakukan melalui media seperti website atau majalah gitar. Cara ini cukup efektif bagi beberapa orang namun masih ada juga yang masih merasa kesulitan dalam melatih pengetahuannya tentang kord gitar karena kemampuan belajar tiap orang yang berbeda- beda. Solusi dengan melakukan pembelajaran dengan metode non-tradisional juga sudah menjadi populer dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Salah satu medianya adalah dengan video game. Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi dan gaya hidup menggunakan ponsel pintar, aplikasi pembelajaran kord gitar berbasis android atau iOS juga semakin bermunculan namun masih sedikit yang dapat memberikan edukasi mengenai kord gitar dengan cara yang menarik atau menyenangkan. Maka dari itu dalam penelitian ini, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah media pembelajaran berupa Rhythm video Game berbasis android. Aplikasi ini akan melatih memori pemain mengenai bentukan kord. Sehingga seiring dengan seringnya memainkan game ini, pemain dapat mengerti dan menghafal kord-kord gitar yang ada pada aplikasi. Melalui Game ini, diharapkan gitaris atau bahkan orang yang belum pernah belajar sekalipun dapat menambah pengetahuannya tentang kord gitar. Kata kunci: kord gitar, android, pembelajaran berbasis Game, mobile learning, Rhythm Game 1.
