Kiss the Ground is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to awaken people to the possibilities of regeneration and inspire participation in this movement through media, communications, education, workshops, immersive programming, and advocacy. Since being established in 2013 with the goal of creating societal awareness around the extraordinary potential of healthy , Kiss the Ground has educated and activated millions. WE EDUCATION

Education is one of the ways we believe we can break barriers that have disconnected us from nature. We want to make our environmental and agricultural education available, accessible, and representative of all and hope that this increases the groups we are supporting in their study and influence on the future of the Movement.

KTG EVERGREEN COURSES

Taught by Kiss the Ground Co-founder Finian Makepeace, Soil Advocate Training (SAT) is a robust introduction and training program designed to equip people with in-depth knowledge about the key solutions to . The course empowers students to create projects, offers multiple different advocacy pathways, and gives them confidence to effectively present and advocate to a variety of audiences. This 8-module course includes lectures, exercises, interviews with leaders in the space, a curated list of readings and resources, an online community platform, a monthly webinar for graduates, and access to Kiss the Ground’s premier presentation materials.

PARTNER COURSES

Like KTG’s own courses, our carefully selected partner courses support the education of farmers, gardeners, consumers, policymakers, and businesses about regenerative agriculture and practices. They equip people with the skills and knowledge needed to be a stronger activist, better consumer, regenerative gardener, or regenerative farmer.

Kiss the Ground has always worked in collaboration with many different groups and thought leaders, and we are always looking to partner with new and existing leaders in the movement. We choose partners who, like Kiss the Ground, support the systemic restoration of our planet and lead us all to get into action to regenerate our planet.

Our partner courses are geared towards a diverse audience and cover a variety of topics, but are united by our strongest belief: anyone, anywhere, can be a powerful and impactful advocate.

We developed this resource for free resources because we recognize how quickly the regenerative movement is growing, and we want to be sure that anyone and everyone who wants to awaken to the possibilities of regeneration has the confidence to do so. We also recognize that Kiss the Ground will not be able to answer every question as we are also still educating ourselves on the generations and generations of knowledge and wisdom within regenerative agriculture.

We are a small team of passionate individuals that continue to reach out to experts every day to continue our education work. We hope that this resource will be able to highlight some of the amazing people who are doing this great work, so that their hard work is acknowledged and shared.
