Tru8 COLOR MIXING GUIDE This guide is intended to help you mix the main and most popular colors on the artist’s pallet. Please note that there are notes and tips on some of the more ‘extreme’ formulations to make it practical and easier for you. To make TRIDENT colors can be Transparent / added to the Transparent Candy / Glaze Base to make Transparent colors. Transparent color show up over light surfaces and colors but are invisible over dark backgrounds Add 30% of Most colors will give the Transparent TRIDENT highest transparency, Colors color to 70% however certain colors of TRIDENT such as TRU White and Transparent TRU Flesh which have high Base concentrations of opaque (Neutral) pigment will only become Reduce as translucent, not required transparent such as yellow, red, blue, violet, green orange and so on. Swatch Color Drops Percentage Practical Mixing Tips/Notes Oranges To mix colors like this or Benzimida even lighter, it is Orange 49 Drops TRU Yellow 98% Yellow suggested to mix a decent (Light 1 Drop TRU Red 2% Red quantity of Cadmium Orange) Orange for your ‘color library’ then use a drop or more of that in yellow to get your lightest oranges.
