U eudominantne, dominantne i subdominantne vrste spada ukupno njih 16, dok u eukonstantne i konstantne spada ukupno 40 vrsta. The growth rate and 1 condition index were monitored https://app.ithenticate.com/en_us/report/48421933/similarity 3/96 9/9/2019 Similarity Report at three different sites in Boka Kotorska Bay: close to sh cages (NBL), 100 m removed from sh cages (NUD) and at a monoculture 1 mussel farm (SVN). Investigation also included analysis of gonad development and reproductive cycle in mussels on the same positions, as this kind of investigation has never before been conducted in Montenegro. Gonad development stadiums were analyzed as well as oocite size and distribution trough one year cycle. One of the aims was also faunistic investigation of marine bivalves in the Bay, which was conducted on six different localities and it was based on quantitative as well as qualitative analysis. The most intense growth of both species was recorded in spring, expect on NBL site were most intense growth of mussels was during autumn. The least intense growth of mussels was in summer. Also during summer growth in oysters was less intense compared with spring, and compare to mussels, oysters showed more irregular growth. After 13 months, monitored mussels at all three locations achieved commercial size. 1 After 18 months, all oysters at SVN and NUD sites achieved commercial size, while four individuals at NBL site did not achieved it. The mussel growth rate was very similar at all sites, while condition index showed spatial and temporal 1 differences. Condition index values on site NUD were mostly higher compared to SVN and NBL, exept for the period from October to December when CI was similar on NBL and NUD site and 1 statisticaly signicant higher in comparation with SVN. CI values on NBL an NUD site during cold period indicate on fact that mussels probably feed on the organic matters from sh farm origins. The growth in oysters was quite similar on all sites, but on NBL and NUD site in rst three month was more intensive compare to SVN site, and in other three months it was contrary. The highest mortality rate in both mussels and oysters, was recorded at the NBL site, probably due to the effects of fouling organisms. 1 https://app.ithenticate.com/en_us/report/48421933/similarity 4/96 9/9/2019 Similarity Report Results indicate that there is no statistical differences in growth of mussels and oysters on SVN and NUD sites, and that growth in both species on NBL site was statisticaly signicant lower compare to SVN and NUD site. Quantitative and qualitative analysis

Based on literature records and original samples, we review here the knowledge of the Lebanese marine bivalve biota, tracing its changes during the last 170 yr. The updated checklist of bivalves of Lebanon yielded a total of 114 species (96 native and 18 alien taxa), accounting for ca. 26.5% of the known Mediterranean Bivalvia and thus representing a particularly poor fauna. Analysis of the 21 taxa historically described on Lebanese material only yielded 2 available names. Records of 24 species are new for the Lebanese fauna, and Lioberus ligneus is also a new record for the Mediterranean Sea. Comparisons between molluscan records by past (before 1950) and modern (after 1950) authors revealed temporal variations and qualitative modifications of the Lebanese bivalve fauna, mostly affected by the introduction of Erythraean species. The rate of recording of new alien species (evaluated in decades) revealed later first local arrivals (after 1900) than those observed for other eastern Mediterranean shores, while the peak in records in conjunc- tion with our samplings (1991 to 2010) emphasizes the need for increased field work to monitor their arrival and establishment.

Historia naturalis bulgarica, 22: 45-71, 2015 Invertebrate Animals (Metazoa: Invertebrata) of the Atanasovsko Lake, Bulgaria Zdravko Hubenov, Lyubomir Kenderov, Ivan Pandourski Abstract: The role of the Atanasovsko Lake for storage and protection of the specific faunistic diversity, characteristic of the hyper-saline lakes of the Bulgarian seaside is presented. The fauna of the lake and surrounding waters is reviewed, the taxonomic diversity and some zoogeographical and ecological features of the invertebrates are analyzed. The lake system includes from freshwater to hyper-saline basins with fast changing environment. A total of 6 types, 10 classes, 35 orders, 82 families and 157 species are known from the Atanasovsko Lake and the surrounding basins. They include 56 species (35.7%) marine and marine-brackish forms and 101 species (64.3%) brackish-freshwater, freshwater and terrestrial forms, connected with water. For the first time, 23 species in this study are established (12 marine, 1 brackish and 10 freshwater). The marine and marine- brackish species have 4 types of ranges – Cosmopolitan, Atlantic-Indian, Atlantic-Pacific and Atlantic. The Atlantic (66.1%) and Cosmopolitan (23.2%) ranges that include 80% of the species, predominate. Most of the fauna (over 60%) has an Atlantic-Mediterranean origin and represents an impoverished Atlantic-Mediterranean fauna. The freshwater-brackish, freshwater and terrestrial forms, connected with water, that have been established from the Atanasovsko Lake, have 2 main types of ranges – species, distributed in the Palaearctic and beyond it and species, distributed only in the Palaearctic. The representatives of the first type (52.4%) predomi- nate. They are related to the typical marine coastal habitats, optimal for the development of certain species.
