TOWNSHIP OF EVESHAM RESOLUTION NO. 83-2020 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TOWNSHIP MANAGER TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE TOWNSHIP OF EVESHAM AND EVESHAM TOWNSHIP COMMAND OFFICERS

WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement has been presented between the Township of Evesham and Evesham Township Command Officers for consideration by both parties; and WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Agreement is subject to approval by both the Township Council of the Township of Evesham and the Evesham Township Command Officers; and WHEREAS, under the Evesham Township Faulkner Act Council- Manager Plan B form of government, the Evesham Township Manager negotiates contracts for the municipality subject to Council approval; and WHEREAS, the Township Council recognizes that the Township Manager is the official township representative of negotiated personnel contracts and authorizes the Township Manager to execute the Memorandum of Agreement on the Township’s behalf, said agreement being attached hereto (Schedule A); and WHEREAS, Labor Counsel and the Township Manager are hereby authorized to incorporate the terms of the Memorandum of Agreement into the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the Township and Evesham Township Command Officers, and to execute the same.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Township Council of the Township of Evesham, County of Burlington, and State of New Jersey that the Township Manager has authorization to execute the Memorandum of Agreement (Schedule A).

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Evesham, County of Burlington, State of New Jersey at a meeting held at the Municipal Complex, 984 Tuckerton Road, Marlton, New Jersey 08053 on February 4, 2020.
