The Executive Council considered the agenda items and decisions taken are as under:- Item No. 30_1 : To Confirm the minutes of the 29th meeting of Executive Council held on 31st March, 2017 Minutes of the 29th meeting of Executive Council held on 31st March, 2017 were circulated vide Letter No. DCRUSTjE.Cj29j2017/150-165 dated 25.4.2017. Since, no comments were received, hence, minutes confirmed. Item No. 30_2 : To note the Follow up action taken report on the decisions of the 29th meeting of Executive Council held on 31st Marcy, 2017. Noted. Item No. 30_3 To consider and approve the amendment in remuneration rules for various type of examinations duties. Approved Item No. 30_4 To consider and approve the matter regarding grant of benefit of past service rendered in M.D.U.P.G. Regional Centre, Rewari from 14.09.1988 to 01.07.1996 of Dr. P. K. Bhatia, Professor in the Department of Mathematics for the purposeof pensionery benefits. It was resolved that the complete case favoring the grant of the benefits of the past service rendered at MD University, Regional Centre, Rewari by Dr. P.K. Bhatia towards pensionery benefits under the Government instructions, may be recommended to the State Government for consideration, condoning the six months time lapsed for submitting the option. I I , r b . To consider and decide the request of Dr. Amita Rani, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering regarding grant of grade pay of Rs. 9000/- from date of joining. It was resolved that the matter may be kept in abeyance. Item No. 3o_6 To consider and decide the request of Dr. Pawan S. Rana for granting pay scale of Rs. 37400-67000 + 9000 GP from the date of joining (11.08.2010) to the post of Associate Professor, Department of Physics in this University. It was resolved that the agenda item be prepared by bringing comparison with other similar casesalready approved. Item No. 30_7 To consider and approve the matter regarding counting of past service rendered by Dr. Naresh Kumar Yadav, Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering at Chaudhary Devi Lal Memorial Engineering College, Panniwala Mota, Sirsa from 13.04.2006 to 07.08.2006 (AN). It was resolved that the case be re-examined by the Administration and thereafter be put up again before the Executive Council for decision. Item No. 3o_8 To consider and decide the matter regarding API proforma based on UGC 4th amendment, Regulation 2016, for direct recruitment and promotion of teaching faculty. under Career Advancement Scheme (CAS). It was resolved to implement 4th amendment w.eJ. 11th J.uly, 2016. Further resolved that such academic amendments be adopted by the university at its own level. The recommendation of the EC be sent to DGTE,Haryana as desired through Memo No. 683-86jUniv. dated 12.05.2017. The issue of API performa was discussed at length and it was resolved that the API proforma based on the UGC4th amendment, Regulation 2016, for direct recruitment and promotion of teaching faculty under Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) devised by the Committee constituted vide Office Order No. 354 dated 09.05.2017 under the Chairmanship of Prof. P. K. Mittal, be sent to all the Hon'ble Members of the Executive Council along with the UGC proforma highlighting the changes made j suggested by the Committee in the UGC proforma. It was further desired that the Hon'ble Members may be requested to send their comments within a period of 10 days from the receipt of the requisite documents. --='-- .-- ·, 7 .\ Item No. 3o_9 To consider and approve the appointments of dependents of victims of agitation of lat Reservation The matter was discussed at length and it was resolved that the marital status of the victims of the Jat Reservation Agitation be obtained through affidavit from their parents. If, they are married then preference for appointment be given to their widow(s) or their adult heir(s). Thereafter, the other family members be considered for giving appointment as per their eligibility, subject to the approval from the State Government. Item No. 3o_10 To approve the recommendations of the Selection Committee(s) regarding (i) promotion as Professor under CAS in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Biotechnology and Computer Science & Engineering, (ii) promotion as Associate Professor under CAS in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and (iii) promotion from Stage II to Stage III under CAS in the Department of Mathematics and Department of Management Studies. The issue was deliberated at length and it was resolved to defer the matter. It was further resolved that an application be also moved for early hearing of the pending case in the Hon'ble High Court.
