THE COUNCIL

The Council proposes to make the following Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) to vary existing restrictions which will have the effect as stated:-

THE INVERCLYDE COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PORT , & QUARRIERS VILLAGE) (WAITING RESTRICTIONS) (VARIATION NO. 7) ORDER 2020

Names of roads in affected in whole or in part: Bay Street, Church Street, Court Road, Crawford Street, Falconer Street, Huntly Place, Huntly Terrace, John Wood Street, Princes Street, Scarlow Street, Station Road and Willison’s Lane.

The relevant effect of the proposed TRO is to introduce:-

 A Residents’ Parking Permit Scheme Zone PG1 in Port Glasgow Town Centre. Permits for the Zone will require to be held;  Limited waiting on Princes Street, John Wood Street, Church Street, Bay Street, Scarlow Street, Willison’s Lane, Station Road, Falconer Street and Crawford Street “Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm, 1 hour, no return within 30 minutes” except for Zone PG1 Permit holders;  Parking for Zone PG1 Permit holders only Monday – Friday, 8.15-9.15am and 5– 6pm on Huntly Terrace, Huntly Place and Court Road;  A “No waiting at any time, No loading at any time” restriction on Station Road; and  A “No waiting at any time” restriction on Huntly Terrace, Huntly Place, Court Road and Bay Street.

Objections must be submitted in writing and must contain a statement of the grounds for objection to the Head of Legal and Property Services, Municipal Buildings, PA15 1LX by 29th January 2021.
