May 20, Khurram rated it really liked it. They changed it at the end. Usually the art work is the best thing about the Ghost Rider comics. The story is playing catch up. Call it a person opinion but I did not like the way Ghost Rider was drawn. The story on the other hand I thought had legs. This book contains issues 1 - 4 of the main Ghost Rider series, and a one shot side issue and an issue from the Absulute Carnage Symbiot of Vengence. Johnny Blaze is the king of Hell, but he is still Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 to figure out his powers, stop breakout and if he has time stop a power play for his throne. While on Earth he runs into his brother Dan Ketch, drinking himself silly while letting his Ghost Rider out when it wants. Again Dan finds himself being a pawn in another game. If the book only contains these four issues I would have given it three stars. The only shot and side issues are so much better. Great art work and story as well. My only problem is the star Dan as the Ghost Rider instead of Johnny. Though the last page of the one shot given me a lot of hope for the future of this series. Jul 03, Chad rated it liked it Shelves:single-issues. This is all almost a lead-in to the rest of the series. Johnny Blaze is the King of Hell and on Earth collecting escaped demons, but to the rest of us it appears he's murdering people. Aaron Kuder had some health issues during this so Juan Frigeri steps in for a lot of the art. That's actually fine because his art Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 more tailored to this kind of book anyway. Jul 16, Paul E. Morph rated it it was amazing Shelves: comics-read-in Best Ghost Rider story for years. Ed Brisson clearly knows his Ghost Rider lore and the artwork by all the artists involved was jaw-dropping. I never really read any besides Robbie Rayes story Which is awesome so I didn't get any connection with these characters. Saying that, it is still pretty entertaining watching two Ghost Riders go at it. When Johnny returns from hell as the king he is trying to round up a bunch of demons and bring them back. He at first ask Danny for help and his half brother says no thanks. BUT soon Danny learns Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 might have lost it and now has to stop his brother from doing batshit crazy things. On top of that we get a story previous to all this of another Ghost Rider who is going head to head with Absoulte Carnage crazy ass. Overall, fun, fast paced, and easy to read. Nothing amazing but Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 entertaining anyway. A lot of the characters do badass things, because their head is on FIRE so how can they not be badasS? There's a moment Johnny kills a guy by using the stare and it is brutal. If like Ghost Rider you'll probably enjoy this. Chad Yeah, this is a continuation of the 90's series which is pretty great if you've never read it. The main four issues are fun though, with some interesting developments for both main characters. Not quite sure what's going on with the supporting cast, with some of them Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 to play bigger roles like while others are more for comedic effect like Danny's bartender friend. The art also makes me shake my head. Aaron Kuder's a good artist, but he's not for monthly comics. He's a 'give him a four issue mini-series to draw and six months lead time' kind of artist, because he manages to draw maybe two issues here before taking off again. I'm also not sure he's really suited to this kind of series, since his art doesn't really lend itself to much outside of the humans talking. Ghost Rider Comic Book Collections for sale | eBay

Now that the Ghost Rider is back, he'll have to kill every one of Lucifer's hosts on Earth to stop the rising chaos. The only problem is that every time a part of Lucifer gets destroyed, the other hosts all increase in strength and power. When there's only one left, not even the Ghost Rider himself will stand a chance. Basically, this whole volume is just Johnny digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole, and it's strangely entertaining. As the first Ghost Rider comic I've ever read, I'd have to say this was pretty good and satisfying. It might not have blown me away, but I still really enjoyed it. Actually, I'm not a huge fan of Johnny's personality as of now because he's not too bright at times, especially when it comes to his vengeance. But then again, it could just be due to his sad back story and trust issues. Side note: That cameo was gold. Love him. I also liked the art style a lot, especially when the hell cycle and the Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 Rider's skull came into play. Nice attention to detail. Great start to this series. I recommend Ghost Rider: Vicious Cycle to all. May 09, L. McCoy rated it liked it Shelves: actioncomics-and-graphic-novelshorrormarvelreviewedsuperhero. View 2 comments. So the story at least for the first 5 issuesis Johnny Blaze is trapped in hell, by the devils doing, so he escapes, however he accidently brings the Devil with him to earth, so now Ghost Rider has to deal with him! The Story was quite good and original, and is just Daniel Way at his best! The Artwork is also quite good, its not your typical comic book art, and it just suits Ghost Rider so well! I would have given this 5 stars for the first arc alone; but then we have arc So the last issues of this volume is a mini arc; which is again Ghost Rider vs Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 Devil; but with some of the most butt ugly artwork I have ever Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 Story wise it was fine, the artwork was a let down compared to the first arc! But overall, highly recommend for a Ghost Rider fan! This was an entertaining read. Trust me to wait till last second to read it before it as to be back at the library. It kept me busy for a while and I loved the artwork. Also, bonus, Doctor Strange was in it! Shelves: owned. This is the current Ghost Rider Ghost Rider: Complete Series Vol. 1 that I'm reading and I love it, the writing and art are both really great. Mind you, I own the individual comics, not the trade paperback. Which is what this is, but this is the only version I saw that looked right, and I've read past this point.
