Dayna Lowe - Where No One Knows............. 5 Leaky faucet Untitled — Christopher Brandon Leela Holt I have gotten over my fear of thunder a dribble, a drop, tick-tock, tick-tock waves upon circles outwardly drawn Maybe— She stammered out as She jumped up a dribble. a drop, then all is stopped reaching out Her hands grey clouds left behind fragments cringe at the thought heavy, just out of reach as if they might strike Her down remembering the sound of mistaken dribbles and drops at any given moment, as if She could fly in, into sound. i was the only witness to Her Ascent, unless you count the lake, brooding and omniscient—forever. Her reflection getting tiny as She rose. the cold grey light touched Her pale skin with the wind that played music in Her hair, the Thunder Clapped, Untitled Michael Cestnik and so Jingle Jangle Morning ~ Claire Hefferon did i. -7- Fireflies Bonfire of Regrets - Frank Willdig ~ Michelle Barker If you stacked your regrets A cloud in Cygnus is a wisp like a bonfire of white feathers obscuring Deneb; would you have the courage and an orange tint slivers the west to drop the match? as the crepuscular descends into night. Could you stand * beside the fire Twilight games are the hardest games with a mug of cocoa for children to stop playing: and someone playing guitar? but tonight, in this field, fireflies surprise Could you allow yourself in the humid summer air, to feel the warmth? and like swirling constellations these myriads emerge Could you keep from running flickering in the evening's warm embrace, into the fire and like stars of varying magnitudes, and gathering this silent, somewhat mystical display every flaming stick? enchants the children, who gather and stop.
