OCTOBER 1-2 2016 — LOVES PARK, ILLINOIS Geek’d Con is coming to the Mercy Indoor Sports Center, 8800 Riverside Blvd, Loves Park, IL 61111 Geek’d Con features TV and film guests, comic book creators, local and regional artists, as well as vendors from across the country. They invite guests to cosplay, join the game tournaments, and enjoy a full weekend of non-stop geek entertainment. They feature panel discussions with the guests, opportunities for question and answers with creators, and plenty of autograph or picture opportunities. Featured guests include the following:

Ready, Set, Save! Often small businesses don’t know where to begin when it comes to energy efficiency. That’s why ComEd is pleased to introduce Ready, Set, Save! This FREE program is designed to help small business owners lower their energy use. Eligible customers can get a kit that includes free energy-saving products such as LED lighting, aerators, and other valuable products tailored to specific busi- ness needs, such as a pre-rinse spray valve for restaurants, MR16 LED light bulbs for retail businesses, and an advanced power strip for offices. Each kit is valued at over $80 and there is NO COST to the participate. In September, some businesses in your community may receive a mailer from the Ready, Set, Save! program regarding FREE energy -saving products tailored to their business. If they receive this mailer, it means they qualify for the program. Businesses eligible for this program must be non-residential rate customers with a peak electric demand of 0 to 100kW and must not have previously participated in the ComEd Small Business Energy Savings Program.

If small businesses in your community receive the Ready, Set, Save! mailer at their business address, they can simply order a free products kit by calling the 800 number, ordering online or returning the postage-paid portion of the mailer. For more information,

Scheduled City Meetings Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful (KNIB) September 2016 Both Keep Northern Illinois Beautiful Recycle Centers in Rockford and Roscoe will be open from 9  06 City Council am to 12 noon on Saturday, September 3rd, during the holiday weekend.
