Note on Differences Among TDP Leaders in Kurupam AC (Vizianagaram) Note on differences among TDP leaders in Kurupam AC (Vizianagaram) S.Vijaya Ramaraju/MLC & TDP AC I/c. Kurupam and his nephew V.T.Janardhan Thatraj, ex-MLA/Kurupam joined TDP from Congress during 2014 (before elections). These two leaders are unable to gel with the TDP cadre right from the beginning. In order to keep their hold in the AC they are maintaining a group of theirs. Vijaya Ramaraju was made incharge of Kurupam AC. Taking advantage of this, he is promoting his own group people in the party sidelining the old TDP leaders/cadre. This attitude of Vijay Ramaraju, is the cause of concern among the TDP cadre. D.Jagadeesh/MLC, who is in TDP since its inception is leading another group with old TDP cadre. Lack of coordination between these two groups is making a dent in the image of TDP in the AC. The groupism and resultant differences between the cadre is given as follows Komarada Mandal There are 4 groups in TDP being lead by 1. G.Sudarsana Rao, TDP Mandal (P) (staunch follower of S.Vijaya Ramaraju) 2. Smt. Nagireddy Priyanka/MPP, 3. M.Surappadunaidu, ex-Party Mandal (P) and Smt. Senapathi Pavani/ZPTC. They are working for their personal interest at the cost of the party. G.Sudarsana Rao, TDP Mandal (P) & S.Vijaya Ramaraju are dominating other TDP leaders and recommending only their followers for the welfare schemes by ignoring the other TDP cadre. Smt. Nagireddy Priyanka/MPP is staying in Hyderabad and her father Madhusudhana Rao is acting as MPP and resorting to corrupt practices by colluding with Mandal level officers. Recently, MPDO and his staff (12) were suspended for irregularities in ISLs (Individual sanitary latrines). As per the earlier agreement, the MPP completed her tenure and the MPP presidency has to be passed on to Smt.D.Kumaramma/MPTC, Komarada-1. However, Smt. Priyanka still hold on to the post, since she has backing from YSRCP MLA Smt.Pushpa Srivani, Priyanka is likely to join YSRCP at any point of time to continue in the chair. The old TDP cadre of Komarada Mandal (11 Panchayats) held a meeting and discussed over the activities of Madhusudana Rao & G.Sudarsana Rao and decided to join either YSRCP or BJP. Garugubilli Mandal Three groups are existing in the Mandal lead by 1. D.Dhanunjayanaidu, Mandal Party (P) (b/o. D.Jagadeesh/MLC), 2. Marrapu Purushottam Naidu, (follower of Vijaya Ramaraju) and 3. Smt. Ganta Usha Rani/MPP. D.Dhanunjayanaidu is dominating the MPP and getting all contract works in his favour. Vijaya Ramaraju is trying for supremacy. Jiyammavalasa Mandal Two groups are existing in the Mandal one led by Smt. Datti Kameswari/MPP w/o. Laxmana Rao (followers of D.Jagadeesh/MLC) and other led by Smt. Donkada Mangamma/ZPTC (follower of Vijaya Ramaraju/MLC). Vijaya Ramaraju is giving importance only to new entrants in allotment of contract works and Govt. schemes by ignoring the old TDP cadre. The group of Datti Laxmana Rao (8 MPTCs, 20 Sarpanches) said to have in touch with M.Srinivasa Rao @ Chinna Srinu, Dist. Convener/YSRCP and likely to join YSRCP. Kurupam Mandal Recently, S.Vijaya Ramaraju replaced Arika Viplava Kumar (follower of D.Jagadeesh /MLC) from the post of Mandal party (P) to instill his follower A.Koteswara Rao. Arika Viplava Kumar has strong vote bank in the Mandal & financially sound. He intend to contest from Kurupam AC in the ensuing Gen. elections-2019, otherwise he would leave the party. Gumma Laxmipuram Mandal There are two groups existing in the Mandal one led by T.Kesava Rao, ex-Mandal party (P) and P.Sudarsana Rao, Mandal party (P) (follower of Vijaya Ramaraju). Vijaya Ramaraju removed T.Kesava Rao (who has strong vote bank and is in TDP since it’s inception) from Mandal party (P) and appointed his follower. TDP cadre is expressing their stern dissatisfaction against the Vijaya Ramaraju. Conclusion:- S. Vijaya Rama Raju/MLC is not participating in party programmes actively because of his age and not taking steps to improve the image of TDP. Further, Janardhan Tatraju/ex-MLA mentally unsound and not a suitable person to contest in the ensuing elections. Suggestion:- Intervention of TDP high command is urgently required to sort out the above differences besides appointing suitable person as AC i/c. of Kurupam AC. * * * .
