The Singapore Association for the Deaf presents.. Deaf Community, and Language & Beginners’ Stage 1

In this course, you will be introduced to the world of the Deaf and understand their unique non-verbal communication – by learning how to listen with your eyes and talk with your hands, face and body. Besides picking up basic sign language, you will get to know more about the local Deaf culture and community too!

For those who live in the western part of Singapore, learning sign language is now more convenient with our classes held at the Disabled People’s Association (DPA) office at Jurong Point!

The course content and fees are the same as for the one held on SADeaf’s premises at Mountbatten Road. This course is open to DPA members and members of the public. Participants must be at least 16 years old and proficient in English, as the course is taught in English only.
