DAY 01: KUALA LUMPUR – - PINNAWALA - SIGIRIYA (L/D) Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo. Meet by our Local Representative and transfer to local restaurant for lunch. Leave for Sigiriya. En route, visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage provides visitors with the best chance of seeing a large number of elephants at close quarters. Pinnawala commenced a successful captive breeding program and the first baby elephant was born in 1984. Proceed to Sigiriya. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 02: SIGIRIYA – DAMBULLA – MATALE - KANDY (B/L/D) After breakfast, drive to Dambulla and Matale. Visit Dambulla Rock Temple was built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a World Heritage Site. Most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 metres. Proceed to Matale, visit a Spice Garden in Matale to see different spices for which Sri Lanka is famous. Proceed to Kandy en-route stop for Lunch at local restaurant. Drive to Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site. The name 'Kandy' conjures visions of splendour and magnificence of legends; traditions are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the Kandy Town, Local Bazaar, Arts-Crafts Centre and Gem Museum – Lapidary. Visit the Temple of Tooth Relic and in evening enjoy Kandayan Cultural Show. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 03: KANDY – BALAPITIYA – – KALUTARA (B/L/D) After Breakfast, leave for Hikkaduwa. En route, visit Balapitiya and Kosgoda. En-route stop for lunch at local restaurant. Proceed for Boat Ride in Balapitiya - Madu River is a shallow water body in southwest Sri Lanka, which enters the sea at Balapitiya. During the river safari, visit uninhabited islands and a cinnamon plantation where you could get an insight into typical rural life. Proceed to Kosgoda - famous for its Turtle Hatchery operated by the Wildlife Protection Society of Sri Lanka. Several species of turtles, especially the endangered hawksbill are protected here. Most vulnerable of all are their eggs which are left uncovered on beaches all around the coast. These eggs are brought to the hatcheries by the fishermen. Visitors are shown the huge tanks filled with new born but lively hatchlings. After being fed, the hatchlings are taken to the sea and released when they are a few days old. Proceed to Hikkaduwa – Beach Area, check in at your pre booked hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 04: KALUTARA – - COLOMBO (B/L/D) After Breakfast, Drive to Galle a UNESCO World Heritage Site, originally built by the Portuguese and then further developed by the Dutch and the British, covers nearly four sq kms, and is protected by 12 bastions and connecting ramparts. During the early 18th century the Old Dutch Gate was the entrance point to the Fort. Visit Dutch Reformed Church, All Saints Church, Amangalla Hotel (formerly the New Oriental Hotel), Lighthouse and Bell Tower. Lunch at local restaurant. Drive to Colombo, arrival do a City and Shopping Tour. Drive past the 100-year-old clock tower and several British built colonial buildings. Other places of interest are the Pettah bazaar - where one can shop for bargain, a Hindu and a Buddhist temple, residential areas - where you find stately homes of the affluent and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) - see the replica of Avukana Buddha and the Independence Square. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

DAY 05: COLOMBO–KUALA LUMPUR (B) After Breakfast, transfer airport for departure flight with wonderful memories of Sri Lanka.
