Las Diferencias Entre Territorios En Argentina: Una Primera Aproximación Para La Identificación De Los Municipios Más Vulnerables De La Nación LAS DIFERENCIAS ENTRE TERRITORIOS EN ARGENTINA: UNA PRIMERA APROXIMACIÓN PARA LA IDENTIFICACIÓN DE LOS MUNICIPIOS MÁS VULNERABLES DE LA NACIÓN Informe técnico – OPS/OMS Argentina1 Resumen ejecutivo A pesar de las limitaciones para indicar por quintiles o deciles las más desfavorecidas de las 2.174 municipalidades del país, con las informaciones y datos disponibles y analizados, la OPS se permite sugerir las siguientes opciones para la decisión política respecto a los territorios que podrían ser priorizados en la República Argentina con vistas al desarrollo social, y especialmente para el mejoramiento de las condiciones de salud de las poblaciones más vulnerables y para la reducción de las brechas de inequidad entre las poblaciones del país. In 2006, the first autochthonous case of human urban visceral leishmaniasis (VL) was recorded in Misiones in the presence of the vector, along with some canine VL cases. After this first case, the vector began to spread primarily in northeast Argentina. Between 2008-2011, three human VL cases were reported in Salta province, but the presence of Lu. lon- gipalpis was not recorded. Captures of Phlebotominae were made in Tartagal, Salta, in 2013, and the presence of Lu. longipalpis was first recorded in northwest Argentina at that time. Systematic sampling is recommended to observe the distribution and dispersion patterns of Lu. longipalpis and consider the risk of VL transmission in the region.     SANTIAGO DEL ESTERO INFORME SINTÉTICO DE CARACTERIZACIÓN SOCIO-PRODUCTIVA Ministerio de Hacienda Secretaría de Hacienda Dirección Nacional de Asuntos Provinciales RESUMEN EJECUTIVO En el año 2010, de acuerdo al último censo de población, habitaban 874 mil personas en Santiago del Estero, el 2,2% de la población total del país. La densidad poblacional en dicho año fue de 6,4 personas por kilómetro cuadrado, menos de la mitad de la registrada en el país, que era de 14,4 personas/km21. En el 2° trimestre de 2017 el mercado laboral de la provincia, relevado a través del Aglomerado Santiago del Estero-La Banda, presentó una reducida tasa de actividad (38,3%), siendo ésta la cuarta más baja del país; asimismo, registró una tasa de desocupación de 4,1%, la más baja de la Región Noroeste a la que pertenece, y 4,6 puntos porcentuales inferior a la del país. Con el 42,8% de los asalariados sin descuentos jubilatorio, Santiago del Estero en dicho trimestre fue la tercera provincia con mayor informalidad del país. Dicho porcentaje fue notoriamente superior al registrado a nivel nacional (33,7%). Por su parte, el sector privado formal empleó a 52 mil asalariados, apenas el 0,8% del empleo privado formal total del país, en tanto que el empleo en la administración pública provincial es muy relevante: en 2015 fue superior al número de asalariados del sector privado formal en un 7,8%. En el 2° trimestre de 2017 la remuneración promedio de los trabajadores formales del sector privado fue de $ 18.209, la segunda más baja del país y un 32,2% inferior al monto promedio nacional.

This species grows naturally in northeast Argentina, where is employed in folk medicine. The essential oils were obtained by steam distillation of leaves and young stems at different stages and analyzed by GC-MS. In total, 698 maternal serum samples from Salta (n ¼ 498) and Ushuaia (n ¼ 200) were collected in 2011–2012 and analyzed for a total of 7 polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and 12 pesticide-related compounds. Only 11 of the compounds had detection rates above 60% in one or both places. Compared with Ushuaian women, those from Salta exhibited higher lipid-adjusted concentrations of p,p0-DDE, p,p0-DDT, b-HCH, and PCB 118 (p # 0.003), with no differences in concentrations of PCB 153 and 138. DEVELOPMENT OF A METHODOLOGY FOR THE ACCOUNT OF TOU- RIST ASSETS ALONG TRAILS IN NATURAL AREAS A methodology for the account of tourist assets along trails allows inventorying a series of components and aspects of the landscape to make clear the process and models for space planning. This methodology is called Re.Je.Sen. (this abbreviation accounts for its Spanish name) and in this paper it is particularly applied to a mountainous area in the south of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. A new version of the methodology by Borla (1995; 1998; 1999) modified by Salemme et. al., 1999 was designed to the account of tourist assets along trails. It takes a tran- sect —the trail or path— considering all the components which can be reachable by the observer’s view, understanding the scenery as a whole. The transect is divided into sma- ller units —sectors— allowing a smaller-scale analysis. The division is based on a set of indicators —geographical, biological, cultural—. Each split is marked by a node, a set of fixed points along the trail where the hiker makes a stop because of different reasons: a panoramic viewpoint, a peculiar non-mobile component, a spot where he meets other hikers, inspires a stop for a rest or a snack.
