‘HOW TO FALL IN LOVE’ CAST BIOS ERIC MABIUS (Harold White) – Eric Mabius is best known for his role in the hit series “Ugly Betty,” playing a womanizing executive. An actor with an intense screen presence, Mabius brings a varied background to his work. He is the second of two sons of Craig and Elizabeth Mabius. Of Polish, Irish, and Austrian ancestry, he was born in Pennsylvania, but spent much of his life in Massachusetts. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, he first came to the attention of movie fans with his film debut in “Welcome to the Dollhouse.” Since then, Mabius has taken on a wide variety of roles, avoiding being typecast. He earned favorable notice for his performance as a high school gang leader in “Black Circle Boys,” but is known for his role as a blackmailed prep school athlete in the box office smash “Cruel Intentions.” Mabius also starred in “The Crow: Salvation,” a sequel to the Brandon Lee film and appeared in the science fiction action film “Resident Evil.” He continues to have a devoted fan base, particularly among audiences of independent films. Mabius currently stars on BBC’s “Outcasts.” ### BROOKE D’ORSAY (Annie Hayes) – Brooke D’Orsay began her career as a member of the Toronto-based improv troupe "Trailervision,” where she cut her teeth as a comedic performer. After moving to Los Angeles, D’orsay went on to star in FOX's "Happy Hour" and CBS's "Gary Unmarried." D’Orsay has also been seen in the fan favorites "Two and a Half Men,” "The Big Bang Theory" and "How I Met Your Mother." On the large screen D’Orsay made us laugh (and a little squeamish) in the cult classic “Harold and Kumar Go To Whitecastle,” followed by New Line Cinema's "King Ransom" and Jennifer Aniston’s directorial debut “Room 10.” Currently, D'Orsay plays Deb on "Drop Dead Diva" and Paige on USA's "Royal Pains." She is also the voice of Caitlin on the animated series, "6teen." ### KATHY NAJIMY (Kim) – Kathy Najimy is known internationally for her portrayal of Sister Mary Patrick in the blockbuster hits “Sister Act” 1 and 2. As well as the Sister Act movies, she has (more) HALLMARK CHANNEL/ ‘HOW TO FALL IN LOVE’ – Cast Bios – Page 2 appeared in over 20 films including a starring role in “Hocus Pocus” and “RatRace,” “Hope Floats,” “Nevada,” “Cats Don’t Dance,” “Zack And Reba,” “This Is My Life,” “The Fisher King,” “Say Uncle,” “Soapdish,” “The Hard Way” and “Step Up 3D,” with cameo appearances in “It's Pat,” “The Wedding Planner,” “Jeffrey,” “The Big K,” “Margaret Cho's: Bam Bam and Celeste” and “2 Sisters.” Kathy can also be heard in Pixar’s Oscar® winning hit “Wall-E:” and in “Disney’s: Tinkerbell.” Najimy starred on Broadway and was critically acclaimed for her portrayal of Mae West in Dirty Blonde and also appeared on Broadway in the first productions of V DAY (the Vagina Monologues). Her original Off-Broadway hit: play The Kathy and Mo Show: Parallel Lives and The Dark Side garnered her Mo Obie Awards and Cable Ace awards for both the plays & the HBO specials. For fourteen seasons Najimy provided the voice of “Peggy Hill,” on the Emmy® award winning FOX TV hit “King of the Hill,” for which she won an Annie award and two Women In Film awards. For three seasons she performed opposite Kirstie Alley as Olive on NBC's “Veronica’s Closet,” for which she won an American Comedy Award. In 2008, she starred as series regular, Millie Finch the saucy head of the University on the CBS hour drama “Numb3rs.” Most recently, she was seen on “Desperate Housewives,” “Drop Dead Diva,” “Ugly Betty” and the hysterical “RuPauls Drag Race.” Najimy has directed several projects including an off Broadway musical Back to Bacharach and David, which was recently produced in Hollywood to rave reviews. Kathy has also directed several one woman shows. For her 20 years of AIDS activism, she has been honored with the L.A. Shanti’s Founder award as well as the L.A. Gay Center's Distinguished Achievement Award. As a proud Lebanese American, Najimy has received awards from the ACC and The ADC. She has posed twice for PETA's popular campaign, “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur,” and in 2000, she received PETA’s Humanitarian of the Year Award from Paul McCartney. And In 2005, she was voted Ms Magazine's’ “Woman of the Year 2005.” Najimy contributed to the Random House book: The Choices We Made, and on tape, voiced Wally Lamb's novel She's Come Undone. She has been the keynote speaker for over 50 humanitarian organizations all across the country. She currently lives in LA with her husband of 15 years, actor/singer Dan Finnerty of the Dan Band, their 13 year old daughter Samia, and their dogs: Petey and Princess. ### (more) HALLMARK CHANNEL/ ‘HOW TO FALL IN LOVE’ – Cast Bios – Page 3 GINA HOLDEN (Julie Owens) – Gina Holden was born in the small mountain town of Smithers, British Columbia, where her first performance took place at a figure skating exhibition at age five. She has been at home on center stage ever since. As a precocious and outgoing child, Holden performed in all her school plays and talent shows. At the age of fifteen, Holden was scouted by a modeling agency and went to work in Japan. Holden was successful in modeling and appeared on over twenty magazine covers, but modeling was never her passion. While her talent and drive gave her a taste of success, modeling was ultimately a stepping-stone to bigger things. Holden took acting classes to develop her skills and soon after established herself as one of Canada’s leading actresses. Holden has a list of impressive film and television credits to her name. Television credits include guest starring roles on CW’s “Supernatural,” “Smallville,” ABC’s “Legend of the Seeker,” CBS’s “Flashpoint” and The Hub Network’s “The Haunting Hour.” Holden also held series recurring roles on CBS’s “Life Unexpected,” “Harper’s Island” and Lifetime Network’s “Blood Ties.” Some of Holden’s film roles include “Screamers 2,” “Alien vs. Predator” and “Final Destination 3.” Holden’s acclaimed work in the horror genre recently earned her a 2010 Eyegore Award, which she accepted with fellow honorees Eli Roth and Christopher Lloyd. In her latest horror role, Holden starred as Joyce in “SAW 3D,” the final chapter of the hugely successful film franchise.
