SUPPLIES & TOOLS: loom-knit glitter cowl • 3 skeins Martha Stewart Crafts™ Lion Brand® Glitter Eyelash yarn: Rose Quartz (A) free • Martha Stewart Crafts™ Lion Brand® Yarn Knit & Weave Loom Kit • Scissors 2 GAUGE: 11 sts = 4". DIRECTIONS: Follow loom manual instructions for Single Knitting for how to cast on, knit, bind off and change color. Cowl is knit on only one side of the loom. Loom is configured into an oval to accommodate the large number of stitches. Small pegs are only used to hold loom together. Do not knit onto small pegs. Cowl is knit as a rectangle, skill level then seamed together. LOOM CONFIGURATION: Use the following: Two 36-hole pieces, two 28-hole semi-circular pieces. Connect pieces to form an oval: 36-hole piece > 28-hole semi-circular piece > 36-hole piece > 28-hole semi-circular piece. Place one small peg in each connecting hole to hold loom together. Insert 34 large pegs into every other hole along one long side and semi-circular pieces of assembled loom – 34 working pegs placed. COWL: Following loom manual instructions, with A, cast onto all working pegs. Row 1: Knit. Repeat Row 1 until piece measures 22" from beginning. Bind off, leaving a long tail. Fold cowl in half, matching last row to first row. Thread yarn tail through yarn needle provided with loom and sew cowl together to form a tube. Thread yarn ends through same needle, and weave ends into the fabric of the cowl. Finished circumference 22". Finished height 12". more projects, tips & techniques at Joann.com® Created by Martha Stewart Crafts™ and Lion Brand® Yarn Skill Level 2: Some experience necessary Craft with Jo-Ann Please read and follow all manufacturers’ instructions for all tools and materials used.
