System consists of a master key and changes (simple master key system). The master key symbol is a pair of identical letters (AA, BB, CC, DD) to prevent confusion with 3 or more levels of keying. 3 Levels of Keying
System consists of a grand master key, master keys, and their associated changes. A single letter symbolizes the A grand master. Masters are symbolized by letter pair s—the first letter is the same as the grand master. To signify changes, numbers follow the letters.
