The salient features for taking indoor treatment in the above paneled hospitals/diagnostic centres are as under:
(a) Hospitals/diagnostic centres will charge the employee or his family members within the ceiling limits as described and contained in the schedule of approved charges under CGHS for treatment of the beneficiaries covered under CGHS.
(b) The hospital/Diagnostic centre will provide treatment facilities to the employees of CERC and members of their family in Delhi including, Ghaziabad, Noida, Faridabad and Gurgaon.
(c) In emergency, the paneled hospital will not refuse admission or demand an advance from the employee of CERC or his family members and provide
6 credit facilities to the patient on production of an Identity Card and the hospital will submit the bill for reimbursement as per approved rates to the Asstt. Secretary CERC. The following ailments will be treated as emergency:-
(i) Acute Coronary Syndromes (Coronary Artery By-pass Graft/Percutenious Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty) including Myocardial Infraction, Unstable Angina, Ventricular Arrhythmias, Paroxysmal Supra Ventricular Tachycardia, Cardiac Temponade, Acute Left Ventricular Failure/Severe Congestive Cardiac Failure, Accelerated Hypertension, Complete Heart Block and Stoke Adam attack, Acute Aortic Dissection.
(ii) Acute Limb Ischemia, Rupture of Aneurysm, Medical and Surgical shock and peripheral circulatory failure.
(iii) Cerebro-vascular attack-Strokes, Sudden unconsciousness, Head injury, Respiratory failure, decompensate lung disease, Cerebro- Meningeal Infections, Convulsions, Acute Paralysis, Acute Visual loss.
(iv) Acute Abdomen pain.
(v) Road Traffic Accidents/with injuries including fall.
(vi) Severe Hemorrhage due to any cause.
(vii) Acute poisoning. (viii) Acute Renal Failure.
(ix) Acute abdomen pain in female including acute Obstetrical and Gynecological emergencies.
